The recombinant Human NRG3 was expressed with the amino acid range of 1-360. The expected molecular weight for the NRG3 protein is calculated to be 53.8 kDa. Expression of this NRG3 protein is conducted in e.coli. The NRG3 coding gene included the N-terminal 6xHis-SUMO tag, which simplifies the detection and purification processes of the recombinant NRG3 protein in following stages of expression and purification.
The human pro-neuregulin-3 is a membrane-bound isoform of the neuregulin-3 (NRG3) protein. Neuregulins are signaling proteins involved in neural development and function. NRG3 plays a crucial role in neuronal and glial differentiation, as well as in the development of the nervous system. As a membrane-bound isoform, pro-neuregulin-3 likely functions in cell-cell communication by interacting with its receptors on neighboring cells. Research areas related to pro-neuregulin-3 include neurobiology, neurodevelopmental disorders, and potential implications in conditions affecting the nervous system. Understanding its role may provide insights into the molecular mechanisms underlying neural development and contribute to therapeutic strategies for neurological disorders. There are currently no reviews for this product.
May I ask you for support in the following inquiry please?
It concerns the human recombinant Neuregulin proteins NRG2 and NRG3 (Cat# CSB-EP016079HU).
I would like to stimulate human cells in culture with these ligands, and check downstream signaling by immunoprecipitation and western blotting of target proteins. At the moment the source organism is probably irrelevant as long as the ligands are active when used for stimulation of cells in culture.
Have you done any such tests with these growth factors?
