kindly enlighten me regarding the the NRAMP! elisa kit, as per the sample types required, shown on this page it is can be assayed in serum or plasma. my question is that do we have it in our serum/plasma in routine?
i am currently working on Genetic susceptibility to tuberculosis in relation to SLC11A1 polymorphism
this gene produces the NRAMP1 protein on human macrophages
so i was intending to quantify this protein in serum / plasma of Tb patients and compare it with levels in serum of controls
so all i want to ask is CAN it be Quantified in Serum samples
