Precision
Intra-assay Precision (Precision within an assay): CV%<8%
Three samples of known concentration were tested twenty times on one plate to assess.
Inter-assay Precision (Precision between assays): CV%<10%
Three samples of known concentration were tested in twenty assays to assess.
Linearity
To assess the linearity of the assay, samples were spiked with high concentrations of rat LIFR in various matrices and diluted with the Sample Diluent to produce samples with values within the dynamic range of the assay.

Target Data

Function Signal-transducing molecule. May have a common pathway with IL6ST. The soluble form inhibits the biological activity of LIF by blocking its binding to receptors on target cells (By similarity).
Gene References into Functions
  1. LIF and its subunit receptor LIFRalpha are constitutively expressed during fetal lung development and that they have an inhibitory physiological role on fetal lung branching. PMID: 22291973
  2. continuous orthodontic forces induce the upregulation of production, suggesting that LIFR may play important role in periodontium remodeling PMID: 21446866
  3. LIFR signaling can exert negative regulatory effects on neurite extension and branching of sympathetic neurons PMID: 12871977
  4. Leukemia inhibitory factor receptor and gp130 were expressed in neurons, and the ischemic damage of these proteins was rescued in the high-LIF group PMID: 15716858
