Conjugate Avi-tag Biotinylated
E. coli biotin ligase (BirA) is highly specific in covalently attaching biotin to the 15 amino acid AviTag peptide. This recombinant protein was biotinylated in vivo by AviTag-BirA technology, which method is BriA catalyzes amide linkage between the biotin and the specific lysine of the AviTag.

Tag Info
Tag type will be determined during the manufacturing process.
The tag type will be determined during production process. If you have specified tag type, please tell us and we will develop the specified tag preferentially.
Form
Lyophilized powder
Note: We will preferentially ship the format that we have in stock, however, if you have any special requirement for the format, please remark your requirement when placing the order, we will prepare according to your demand.
Buffer before Lyophilization
Tris/PBS-based buffer, 6% Trehalose, pH 8.0
Reconstitution
We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Please reconstitute protein in deionized sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL.We recommend to add 5-50% of glycerol (final concentration) and aliquot for long-term storage at -20℃/-80℃. Our default final concentration of glycerol is 50%. Customers could use it as reference.
Troubleshooting and FAQs
Storage Condition
Store at -20°C/-80°C upon receipt, aliquoting is necessary for mutiple use. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Shelf Life
The shelf life is related to many factors, storage state, buffer ingredients, storage temperature and the stability of the protein itself.
Generally, the shelf life of liquid form is 6 months at -20°C/-80°C. The shelf life of lyophilized form is 12 months at -20°C/-80°C.
Lead Time
Delivery time may differ from different purchasing way or location, please kindly consult your local distributors for specific delivery time.
Note: All of our proteins are default shipped with normal blue ice packs, if you request to ship with dry ice, please communicate with us in advance and extra fees will be charged.
Notes
Repeated freezing and thawing is not recommended. Store working aliquots at 4°C for up to one week.

Target Background

Function
Required for lymphangioblast budding and angiogenic sprouting from venous endothelium during embryogenesis.
Gene References into Functions
  1. the present results demonstrated that CCBE1 expression was downregulated in lung cancer, particularly in the presence of LNM. PMID: 29207117
  2. these data indicated that CCBE1 may be served as a new predictor of prognosis in post-operative gastrointestinal stromal tumor patients and may play an important role in stimulating tumor progression PMID: 27506146
  3. We identify CCBE1 as a direct target of miR-330-3p, and show that knockdown of CCBE1 results in a greater invasive capacity. Accordingly, in breast cancer patients CCBE1 is frequently downregulated, and its loss is associated with reduced distant relapse-free and overall survival. PMID: 28419078
  4. characterization of Hennekam Syndrome phenotypes in two Turkish siblings with protein mutation PMID: 26686525
  5. Collagen domains of CCBE1 are crucial for the activation of VEGFC in vitro and in vivo. The EGF domains of CCBE1 are dispensable for regulation of VEGFC processing in vitro, however, they are necessary for full lymphangiogenic activity of CCBE1 in vivo. PMID: 25814692
  6. CCBE1 enhances lymphangiogenesis via A disintegrin and metalloprotease with thrombospondin motifs-3-mediated vascular endothelial growth factor-C activation. PMID: 24552833
  7. Both siblings harbored a homozygous mutation in CCBE1. PMID: 24086631
  8. The study has shown that CCBE1 mutations are not a major contributor to non-immune hydrops fetalis. PMID: 22239599
  9. Human CCBE1 strongly enhances vascular endothelial growth factor-C-mediated lymphangiogenesis in a corneal micropocket assay PMID: 21778431
  10. Loss of CCBE1 expression may promote ovarian carcinogenesis by enhancing migration & cell survival. CCBE1 is a new candidate tumour suppressor in ovarian cancer. PMID: 19935792
  11. Homozygous cysteine to serine change and SNPS in CCBE1 were identified patients. PMID: 19911200
  12. Mutations in CCBE1 cause generalized lymph vessel dysplasia in humans PMID: 19935664
