 Q&A
Q:

We are interested in human nitric oxide synths (NOS1), I want to know if you have isoforms NOS1。I looked at 20 proteins that are related to you, our main concern is“The most important thing for is they need to have enzymatic activity”,Please kindly check whether there is a good recommendation from the technical department. If there is, please provide relevant information:
1.are they full length or truncated?
2.If they are truncated, what are the segment?

A:
Thanks for your inquiry. The four expression systems of NOS1 protein are futures. We have not detected the activity, but can only provide active reference information.

NOS1 activity reference information: https://europepmc.org/abstract/MED/8879752 Mentioned in the literatur:The cDNA transiently transfected into CHO-K1 cells expressed a protein which contained a significant level of NOS activity. You can refer to it, but we have not done this protein or detected it for the time being, which cannot guarantee 100% activity. It is suggested that you could consider ordering the eukaryotic expressed protein, which has a high possibility of activity.

Target Background

Function
Produces nitric oxide (NO) which is a messenger molecule with diverse functions throughout the body. In the brain and peripheral nervous system, NO displays many properties of a neurotransmitter. Probably has nitrosylase activity and mediates cysteine S-nitrosylation of cytoplasmic target proteins such SRR.
