Conjugate Avi-tag Biotinylated
E. coli biotin ligase (BirA) is highly specific in covalently attaching biotin to the 15 amino acid AviTag peptide. This recombinant protein was biotinylated in vivo by AviTag-BirA technology, which method is BriA catalyzes amide linkage between the biotin and the specific lysine of the AviTag.

The tag type will be determined during production process. If you have specified tag type, please tell us and we will develop the specified tag preferentially.
Form
Lyophilized powder
Note: We will preferentially ship the format that we have in stock, however, if you have any special requirement for the format, please remark your requirement when placing the order, we will prepare according to your demand.
Buffer before Lyophilization
Tris/PBS-based buffer, 6% Trehalose, pH 8.0
Reconstitution
We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Please reconstitute protein in deionized sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL.We recommend to add 5-50% of glycerol (final concentration) and aliquot for long-term storage at -20℃/-80℃. Our default final concentration of glycerol is 50%. Customers could use it as reference.
Troubleshooting and FAQs
Storage Condition
Store at -20°C/-80°C upon receipt, aliquoting is necessary for mutiple use. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Shelf Life
The shelf life is related to many factors, storage state, buffer ingredients, storage temperature and the stability of the protein itself.
Generally, the shelf life of liquid form is 6 months at -20°C/-80°C. The shelf life of lyophilized form is 12 months at -20°C/-80°C.
Lead Time
Delivery time may differ from different purchasing way or location, please kindly consult your local distributors for specific delivery time.
Note: All of our proteins are default shipped with normal blue ice packs, if you request to ship with dry ice, please communicate with us in advance and extra fees will be charged.
Notes
Repeated freezing and thawing is not recommended. Store working aliquots at 4°C for up to one week.

Target Background

Function
Modulates T-cell-mediated immune responses and the development of acute and chronic transplant rejection. Plays a positive regulatory role in bone formation and has a dual role in the bone-immune interface. Induces antitumor immunity as it activates both acquired and innate immunity leading to natural killer cell and CD8 T-cell dependent killing of tumor cells.
Gene References into Functions
  1. These results indicated an important role for B7-H3 in the development of Th1 and Th2 cells in a murine model of asthma and its proinflammatory effects are not dependent on TLR2 signaling. PMID: 28094276
  2. These results demonstrate that B7H3 substantially ameliorates LPS-induced Acute lung injury and this protection afforded by B7H3 is predominantly associated with its inhibitory effect on pulmonary PMN migration and infiltration PMID: 27515382
  3. Inhibition of the B7-H3 immune checkpoint limits tumor growth by enhancing cytotoxic lymphocyte function PMID: 28685773
  4. blockage of NF-kappaB p65 and/or MAPK p38 with their specific inhibitors strongly attenuated B7-H3-amplified inflammatory response with significantly reduced proinflammatory cytokine and chemokine production, and markedly ameliorated B7-H3-exacerbated disruption of blood-brain barrier and severity of disease status in S. pneumoniae-infected mice. PMID: 28141831
  5. CD276 is broadly expressed by tumor cells and tumor vasculature but Is dispensable for tumor growth. PMID: 28399408
  6. this study shows that B7-H3 participates in the development of acute pancreatitis PMID: 27003113
  7. Data show that B7-H3 protein is over-expressed in cerulein-induced acute pancreatitis, and anti-B7-H3 monoclonal antibody can attenuate the inflammation and alleviate the injury of pancreas and lung tissues. PMID: 26927550
  8. Ablation of B7-H3 but Not B7-H4 Results in Highly Increased Tumor Burden in a Murine Model of Spontaneous Prostate Cancer PMID: 26122284
  9. Murine B7-H3 is a positive co-stimulatory molecule in the regulation of T cell-mediated immune responses. PMID: 24328742
  10. B7-H3 inhibits T cell proliferation. FG loop of the IgV domain plays a critical role in this function. B7-H3 crystallized as an unusual dimer arising from the exchange of the G strands in the IgV domains of partner molecules PMID: 23583036
  11. The study investigates the role of B7-H3 in pancreatic cancer progression and shows that this protein promotes cancer cell migration and invasiveness in vitro and in vivo. PMID: 23242015
  12. Graft prolongation achieved by CTLA4 Ig was shortened both by B7-H3 blockade and the absence of recipient B7-H3. PMID: 22733595
  13. Macrophage-tumor cell interaction-induced membrane-bound B7-H3 represents a novel immune escape mechanism which links the pro-inflammatory response to immune tolerance in the tumor milieu. PMID: 22999863
  14. Exogenous administration of B7-H3 strongly amplifies the inflammatory response, exacerbates blood-brain barrier disruption, and aggravates the clinical disease status in Streptococcus pneumoniae-infected C3H/HeN wild-type mice. PMID: 22661093
  15. Tumour-associated B7-H3 directly augments CD8(+) T-cell effector function, possibly by ligation of TLT-2 on tumour-infiltrating CD8(+) T cells at the local tumour site. PMID: 20141543
  16. preferentially down-regulates t helper type 1-mediated immune responses PMID: 12925852
  17. B7-H3 serves as a negative regulator of T cell activation and function PMID: 15294965
  18. Plays a positive regulatory role in bone formation. In addition, has a dual role in the bone-immune interface. PMID: 15317945
  19. A role is established for B7-H3 in the costimulation of T cell-mediated tumor immunity in vivo. PMID: 15494491
  20. Dendritic cells expressing soluble mB7h3-hIg showed a significant reduced allo-stimulatory capability compared with controls. Soluble mB7h3-hIg also inhibited IL-2 and IFN-gamma production of allogenic T cells, suggesting therapeutic potential PMID: 16893505
  21. B7-H3 shows 2 different expression patterns on monocyte-derived dendritic cells: 2IgB7-H3 tends to be expressed on immature dendritic cells, while 4IgB7-H3 is detected continuously during cell maturation. Both isoforms promote T cell proliferation. PMID: 17610414
  22. Regulates not only type 1 T helper cell (Th1)-mediated but also Th2-mediated immune reactions. PMID: 17825429
  23. analysis of an interaction between B7-H3 and TLT-2 that preferentially enhances CD8(+) T cell activation PMID: 18650384
  24. B7-H3 has an important role in the development of pathogenic type 2 T-helper (Th2) cells during the induction phase of asthma, but no role in recruitment and/or activation of Th2 cells in the lung during the asthma effector phase. PMID: 18768862
  25. high levels of B7-H3 expression contributes to the ability of CD40-activated tumor associated DCs in eliciting efficient antitumor immune response PMID: 19307991
