Conjugate Avi-tag Biotinylated
E. coli biotin ligase (BirA) is highly specific in covalently attaching biotin to the 15 amino acid AviTag peptide. This recombinant protein was biotinylated in vivo by AviTag-BirA technology, which method is BriA catalyzes amide linkage between the biotin and the specific lysine of the AviTag.

Tag Info
Tag type will be determined during the manufacturing process.
The tag type will be determined during production process. If you have specified tag type, please tell us and we will develop the specified tag preferentially.
Form
Lyophilized powder
Note: We will preferentially ship the format that we have in stock, however, if you have any special requirement for the format, please remark your requirement when placing the order, we will prepare according to your demand.
Buffer before Lyophilization
Tris/PBS-based buffer, 6% Trehalose, pH 8.0
Reconstitution
We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Please reconstitute protein in deionized sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL.We recommend to add 5-50% of glycerol (final concentration) and aliquot for long-term storage at -20℃/-80℃. Our default final concentration of glycerol is 50%. Customers could use it as reference.
Troubleshooting and FAQs
Storage Condition
Store at -20°C/-80°C upon receipt, aliquoting is necessary for mutiple use. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Shelf Life
The shelf life is related to many factors, storage state, buffer ingredients, storage temperature and the stability of the protein itself.
Generally, the shelf life of liquid form is 6 months at -20°C/-80°C. The shelf life of lyophilized form is 12 months at -20°C/-80°C.
Lead Time
Delivery time may differ from different purchasing way or location, please kindly consult your local distributors for specific delivery time.
Note: All of our proteins are default shipped with normal blue ice packs, if you request to ship with dry ice, please communicate with us in advance and extra fees will be charged.
Notes
Repeated freezing and thawing is not recommended. Store working aliquots at 4°C for up to one week.

Target Background

Function
Transcriptional activator that binds to DNA sequences containing the consensus pentanucleotide 5'-CGGA[AT]-3'.
Gene References into Functions
  1. Here, we present a model in which the ETV1 promoter is used to specifically and inducibly drive Cre recombinase in ICC as a strategy to study GIST pathogenesis. PMID: 28539323
  2. Loss of Etv1 resulted in a complete disruption of the normal sodium current heterogeneity that exists between atrial, VCS, and ventricular myocytes. PMID: 27775552
  3. we described a RET-ER81-Neuregulin1 signaling pathway in neurons innervating Pacinian corpuscle somatosensory end organs, which is essential for communication between the innervating axon and the end organ PMID: 27707970
  4. downstream ETV1/4/5 transcriptional up-regulation appears highly sensitive and specific and can be used as a reliable molecular signature and diagnostic method for CIC fusion positive SBRCTs PMID: 28233365
  5. these data reveal a JMJD2A/ETV1/YAP1 axis that promotes prostate cancer initiation and that may be a suitable target for therapeutic inhibition. PMID: 26731476
  6. this study shows that network activity dynamically modulates the properties of fast-spiking (FS) interneurons through the postmitotic expression of the transcriptional regulator Er81. PMID: 26359400
  7. Data showed that ETV1 knockdown reduced KIT expression and GIST proliferation. PMID: 25865047
  8. both Etv1 and Ewsr1 were necessary for Fgf10 expression and elongation of the limb bud. PMID: 25109552
  9. ETV1 appeared to support development of invasive adenocarcinoma under the background of full Pten loss PMID: 23512661
  10. Study shows that the NR2C and Tiam1 maturation genes are synergistically controlled by the activity-dependent induction of Etv1. PMID: 22586091
  11. The coordinate expression of Etv1 with POMC cell differentiation and its interaction with the highly cell-restricted Tpit factor indicate that Etv1 participates in a combinatorial code for pituitary cell-specific gene expression. PMID: 21622576
  12. Etv1 orchestrates the activity-dependent gene regulation in the terminal maturation program and specifies the identity of cerebellar granule cells. PMID: 21746923
  13. ER81 is not necessary for expression of the OB dopaminergic gene cassette and that the DA-motif is not involved in differentiation of the mammalian OB dopaminergic phenotype. PMID: 20357122
  14. Studies indicate that Etv1 not only mediates specification of dopaminergic identity, but is also required for the proliferation and maintenance of bulbar dopaminergic neurons. PMID: 19591649
  15. Formation of supernumerary muscle spindles at the expense of Golgi tendon organs in ER81-deficient mice PMID: 11891988
  16. Few if any DRG neurons from Bax(-/-)/NT3(-/-) mice expressed ER81 protein. Expression of a NT3 transgene in muscle restored DRG ER81 expression. PMID: 12741988
  17. ER81 is a transcription factor in the ets family, within which it forms the PEA3 group. PMID: 12871699
  18. A neuron class defined by a molecular criterion doesn't segregate with that defined by an anatomical criterion; ER81 is involved in cell differentiation of a subset of layer 5 projection neurons, and this mechanism is conserved among rodents and primates. PMID: 16289830
  19. Etv1 is required for Pacinian corpuscle development. PMID: 16493690
  20. An excess of muscle-derived NT3 reverses deficits in spindle numbers and afferent function induced by the absence of ER81. PMID: 17013886
  21. precocious axon growth into transplanted older donor limbs, which prematurely exposes neurons to limb-derived signals, does not accelerate the onset of expression of Er81 or Pea3 PMID: 17654714
  22. The genetic interplay between the transcription factors, Pax6 and Er81, is responsible, in part, for the regional specification of a distinct sublineage of layer 5 projection neurons. PMID: 18307776
