Conjugate Avi-tag Biotinylated
E. coli biotin ligase (BirA) is highly specific in covalently attaching biotin to the 15 amino acid AviTag peptide. This recombinant protein was biotinylated in vivo by AviTag-BirA technology, which method is BriA catalyzes amide linkage between the biotin and the specific lysine of the AviTag.

Tag Info
Tag type will be determined during the manufacturing process.
The tag type will be determined during production process. If you have specified tag type, please tell us and we will develop the specified tag preferentially.
Form
Lyophilized powder
Note: We will preferentially ship the format that we have in stock, however, if you have any special requirement for the format, please remark your requirement when placing the order, we will prepare according to your demand.
Buffer before Lyophilization
Tris/PBS-based buffer, 6% Trehalose, pH 8.0
Reconstitution
We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Please reconstitute protein in deionized sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL.We recommend to add 5-50% of glycerol (final concentration) and aliquot for long-term storage at -20℃/-80℃. Our default final concentration of glycerol is 50%. Customers could use it as reference.
Troubleshooting and FAQs
Storage Condition
Store at -20°C/-80°C upon receipt, aliquoting is necessary for mutiple use. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Shelf Life
The shelf life is related to many factors, storage state, buffer ingredients, storage temperature and the stability of the protein itself.
Generally, the shelf life of liquid form is 6 months at -20°C/-80°C. The shelf life of lyophilized form is 12 months at -20°C/-80°C.
Lead Time
Delivery time may differ from different purchasing way or location, please kindly consult your local distributors for specific delivery time.
Note: All of our proteins are default shipped with normal blue ice packs, if you request to ship with dry ice, please communicate with us in advance and extra fees will be charged.
Notes
Repeated freezing and thawing is not recommended. Store working aliquots at 4°C for up to one week.

Target Background

Function
Probable transcription factor involved in muscle spindle development.
Gene References into Functions
  1. Egr3 knockout mice, lacking muscle spindles, but not Golgi tendon organs, displayed a less severe prepubertal scoliosis. PMID: 28829946
  2. Egr3 is involved in myoblast proliferation by interaction with survival signaling. PMID: 27576048
  3. Study showed that acute stress activates 5-HT2AR expression in the mouse cortex and this activation requires the immediate early gene Egr3 PMID: 25857407
  4. Gene expression profiling and further functional validation revealed that Egr3 was a strong limiting factor for the proliferative potential of hematopoietic stem cells in leukemia. PMID: 26186938
  5. Egr3 overexpression in medium spiny neurons subtypes oppositely mediates behavioral responses to cocaine. Egr3 regulates cocaine-associated genes transcriptionally PMID: 25995477
  6. Thios study demonstrated that Egr3 has an essential role in regulating gene expression that promotes normal intrafusal muscle fiber differentiation and fusimotor innervation homeostasis PMID: 25855173
  7. our result shows for the first time that the Egr3 a transcription factor may play a novel non-transcriptional function during microtubule organization in mouse oocytes. PMID: 24722338
  8. Egr3 induces a Th17 response by promoting the development of gamma-delta T cells. PMID: 24475259
  9. These results suggest that Erk1/2 acts in intrafusal fibers of muscle spindles to induce transcription of Egr3 PMID: 24272970
  10. These results provide the first evidence that Egr-3, is up-regulated in scleroderma and is necessary and sufficient for profibrotic responses PMID: 23906810
  11. These data suggest that type I IFN stimulation induces a rapid recruitment of a repressive Egr3/Nab1 complex that silences transcription from the ifngr1 promoter. PMID: 23935197
  12. Our results suggest that Egr-3 is a transcription factor associated with TGF-beta1 expression and in vivo regulatory activity PMID: 23904169
  13. Te results of this study reveled that Egr3 has an essential role in regulating sympathetic neuron dendrite morphology and terminal axon branching, but not in regulating sympathetic axon guidance to their targets. PMID: 23467373
  14. used a pharmacological dissection approach to identify a neurotransmitter receptor defect in Egr3(-/-) mice that may mediate their resistance to the locomotor suppressive effects of clozapine. PMID: 22692564
  15. a role for Egr3 in mediating sympathetic target tissue innervation that is independent of neuron survival or neurotrophin deregulation PMID: 21980528
  16. Induction of transcription factor Egr3 as a marker for early spindle fiber development is influenced by agrin, laminin and alpha-dystroglycan. PMID: 20213761
  17. Egr3 is an important regulator of proliferation in response to pre-TCR signals, and it may also regulate some specific aspects of differentiation. PMID: 14707069
  18. Egr3 has an essential role in learning and memory processing that appears to be partly distinct from the role of Egr1 PMID: 17350282
  19. This study shows that mice lacking the IEG transcription factor Egr3 (Egr3-/- mice) display increased aggression, and a decreased latency to attack, in response to the stressful social stimulus of a foreign intruder. PMID: 17637609
  20. Egr3-/- mice fail to establish hippocampal LTD in response to low frequency stimulation and exhibit dysfunction of the NR1/NR2B NMDA receptor subclass. PMID: 17692471
  21. Egr3-deficient mice have a phenotype that is remarkably similar to humans with sympathetic nervous system disease, raising the possibility that it may have a role in some forms of human dysautonomia, most of which have no known cause. PMID: 18653557
