Conjugate Avi-tag Biotinylated
E. coli biotin ligase (BirA) is highly specific in covalently attaching biotin to the 15 amino acid AviTag peptide. This recombinant protein was biotinylated in vivo by AviTag-BirA technology, which method is BriA catalyzes amide linkage between the biotin and the specific lysine of the AviTag.

Tag Info
Tag type will be determined during the manufacturing process.
The tag type will be determined during production process. If you have specified tag type, please tell us and we will develop the specified tag preferentially.
Form
Lyophilized powder
Note: We will preferentially ship the format that we have in stock, however, if you have any special requirement for the format, please remark your requirement when placing the order, we will prepare according to your demand.
Buffer before Lyophilization
Tris/PBS-based buffer, 6% Trehalose, pH 8.0
Reconstitution
We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Please reconstitute protein in deionized sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL.We recommend to add 5-50% of glycerol (final concentration) and aliquot for long-term storage at -20℃/-80℃. Our default final concentration of glycerol is 50%. Customers could use it as reference.
Troubleshooting and FAQs
Storage Condition
Store at -20°C/-80°C upon receipt, aliquoting is necessary for mutiple use. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Shelf Life
The shelf life is related to many factors, storage state, buffer ingredients, storage temperature and the stability of the protein itself.
Generally, the shelf life of liquid form is 6 months at -20°C/-80°C. The shelf life of lyophilized form is 12 months at -20°C/-80°C.
Lead Time
Delivery time may differ from different purchasing way or location, please kindly consult your local distributors for specific delivery time.
Note: All of our proteins are default shipped with normal blue ice packs, if you request to ship with dry ice, please communicate with us in advance and extra fees will be charged.
Notes
Repeated freezing and thawing is not recommended. Store working aliquots at 4°C for up to one week.

Target Background

Function
Sequence-specific transcription factor which is part of a developmental regulatory system that provides cells with specific positional identities on the anterior-posterior axis. Binds 5' to its own homeobox.
Gene References into Functions
  1. HoxA3 induced upregulation of Jag1 ligand in endothelial cells, which led to cis-inhibition of the Notch pathway, rendering the HE nonresponsive to Notch signals. PMID: 29073173
  2. Our findings suggest a role for Hox a3 protein activity in promoting M1-to-M2-like phenotypic switching via interactions with myeloid transcription factors and provide insight into mechanisms regulating this process in diabetic wound healing PMID: 27342843
  3. ultiple roles for HOXA3 in regulating thymus and parathyroid differentiation and morphogenesis in mouse. PMID: 25249461
  4. Studies indicate that Hoxa3 promotes proliferation and differentiation of HSC/Ps into Gr-1+CD11b+ myeloid cells. PMID: 20974673
  5. Data show that HoxA3 restrains haematopoietic differentiation of the earliest endothelial progenitors, and induces reversion of the earliest haematopoietic progenitors into CD41-negative endothelial cells. PMID: 21170035
  6. demonstrate that zebrafish hoxa3a (zfhoxa3a) expressed from the mouse Hoxa3 locus can substitute for mouse Hoxa3 in some tissues, but has distinct or null phenotypes in others. PMID: 20498049
  7. homeobox gene hoxa3 is essential for the formation of the carotid body in the mouse embryos PMID: 12074562
  8. Hoxa3 gene is crucial for the formation of the common carotid artery and the null mutant mice are the first useful animal models to show that the third arch arteries on both sides specifically degenerate but the fourth and sixth arch arteries are normal PMID: 12658442
  9. Results suggest that members of the Hox groups (Hoxa3, Hoxb3, Hoxd3) coordinate both suppression and activation mechanisms that ensure distinction between the multiple rhombomeres in the developing hindbrain. PMID: 12954718
  10. The proximal 2-kb of the Hoxa3 promoter directs gene expression in distinct branchial compartments and cranial ganglia. PMID: 15158084
  11. Hoxa3 regulates the proliferation and differentiation of the 3rd pharyngeal arch mesoderm. PMID: 15714286
  12. HOXA3 can facilitate tissue remodeling via coordinated changes in both epithelial and endothelial cell gene expression and behavior in adult tissues during wound repair. PMID: 15914537
  13. Dual origins of the carotid body revealed by targeted disruption of Hoxa3 and Mash1. PMID: 16683703
  14. HOXA3 accelerates wound repair by mobilizing endothelial progenitor cells and attenuating the excessive inflammatory response of chronic wounds. PMID: 19544454
