The shelf life is related to many factors, storage state, buffer ingredients, storage temperature and the stability of the protein itself. Generally, the shelf life of liquid form is 6 months at -20°C/-80°C. The shelf life of lyophilized form is 12 months at -20°C/-80°C.
Repeated freezing and thawing is not recommended. Store working aliquots at 4°C for up to one week.
Member of the two-component regulatory system MprB/MprA which contributes to maintaining a balance among several systems involved in stress resistance and is required for establishment and maintenance of persistent infection in the host. Functions as a transcriptional regulator that recognizes a 19-bp nucleotide motif comprizing two loosely conserved 8-bp direct DNA-binding motif repeats separated by a 3-bp spacer region (By similarity).
