Conjugate Avi-tag Biotinylated
E. coli biotin ligase (BirA) is highly specific in covalently attaching biotin to the 15 amino acid AviTag peptide. This recombinant protein was biotinylated in vivo by AviTag-BirA technology, which method is BriA catalyzes amide linkage between the biotin and the specific lysine of the AviTag.

Tag Info
Tag type will be determined during the manufacturing process.
The tag type will be determined during production process. If you have specified tag type, please tell us and we will develop the specified tag preferentially.
Form
Lyophilized powder
Note: We will preferentially ship the format that we have in stock, however, if you have any special requirement for the format, please remark your requirement when placing the order, we will prepare according to your demand.
Buffer before Lyophilization
Tris/PBS-based buffer, 6% Trehalose, pH 8.0
Reconstitution
We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Please reconstitute protein in deionized sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL.We recommend to add 5-50% of glycerol (final concentration) and aliquot for long-term storage at -20℃/-80℃. Our default final concentration of glycerol is 50%. Customers could use it as reference.
Troubleshooting and FAQs
Storage Condition
Store at -20°C/-80°C upon receipt, aliquoting is necessary for mutiple use. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Shelf Life
The shelf life is related to many factors, storage state, buffer ingredients, storage temperature and the stability of the protein itself.
Generally, the shelf life of liquid form is 6 months at -20°C/-80°C. The shelf life of lyophilized form is 12 months at -20°C/-80°C.
Lead Time
Delivery time may differ from different purchasing way or location, please kindly consult your local distributors for specific delivery time.
Note: All of our proteins are default shipped with normal blue ice packs, if you request to ship with dry ice, please communicate with us in advance and extra fees will be charged.
Notes
Repeated freezing and thawing is not recommended. Store working aliquots at 4°C for up to one week.

Target Background

Function
Plays an important role in the regulation of embryonic development, cell proliferation and cell differentiation. Required for normal branching morphogenesis. May play a role in wound healing.
Gene References into Functions
  1. Direct delivery of fibroblast growth factor-10 (FGF-10) in the lungs of rats led to an increase of lung-resident mesenchymal stem cells (LR-MSCs) in the treated lungs, suggesting that the protective effect of FGF-10 might be mediated, in part, by the mobilization of LR-MSCs in lungs. PMID: 26869337
  2. Suggest the potential involvement of altered Fgf10/Fgfr2/AR signaling in pathogenesis of anorectal malformations induced by di-n-butyl phthalate. PMID: 26514922
  3. FGF10 is involved in fetal lung fluid secretion and lung branching. PMID: 23143078
  4. FGF-10 effects on lung branching morphogenesis are heparin-dependent.FGF-10 may also function in regulating branching morphogenesis or inducing cystic lung growth by inhibiting Wnt2/beta-catenin signaling. PMID: 22261751
  5. the role of KGF1 appeared to be exclusively concerned with increased proliferation and migration at the perforation site PMID: 21136143
  6. FGF10 regulates Meckel's cartilage formation during early mandibular morphogenesis by controlling the cell differentiation in the lateral area of the mandibular process in rats. PMID: 21147086
  7. data suggest that fibroblast growth factors FGF-7 and FGF-10 contribute to the regeneration and differentiation of acinar cells and angiogenesis in acute pancreatitis through the keratinocyte growth factor receptor PMID: 12565793
  8. Decreased gene expression of FGF-10 in the rat hypoplastic lung suggests that pulmonary hypoplasia in nitrofen-induced congenital diaphragmatic hernia rat may be caused by reduced synthesis of FGF-10 during lung morphogenesis. PMID: 12861530
  9. TGFbeta1 is regulator of Fgf10 expression in prostatic mesenchyme, and a proximal element within Fgf10 promoter plays an important role in its regulation and expression. PMID: 14726452
  10. Lateral prostate organ culture experiments demonstrate that growth and branching inhibition as well as Fgf10 suppression is mediated directly at the prostatic level. PMID: 15680359
  11. Role of Fgf10 in Androgen regulation of prostate morphoregultory gene expression. PMID: 17218409
  12. FGF10 positively regulates the beta-cell mass by increasing the proliferation of the early precursors and by extending the window of expression of an endocrine precursor. marker PMID: 17923768
  13. findings support a role for FGF10 in the induction of human congenital cystic adenomatoid malformation and provide further mechanistic insight into the role of FGF10 in normal and abnormal lung development PMID: 18421016
