Conjugate Avi-tag Biotinylated
E. coli biotin ligase (BirA) is highly specific in covalently attaching biotin to the 15 amino acid AviTag peptide. This recombinant protein was biotinylated in vivo by AviTag-BirA technology, which method is BriA catalyzes amide linkage between the biotin and the specific lysine of the AviTag.

Tag Info
Tag type will be determined during the manufacturing process.
The tag type will be determined during production process. If you have specified tag type, please tell us and we will develop the specified tag preferentially.
Form
Lyophilized powder
Note: We will preferentially ship the format that we have in stock, however, if you have any special requirement for the format, please remark your requirement when placing the order, we will prepare according to your demand.
Buffer before Lyophilization
Tris/PBS-based buffer, 6% Trehalose, pH 8.0
Reconstitution
We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Please reconstitute protein in deionized sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL.We recommend to add 5-50% of glycerol (final concentration) and aliquot for long-term storage at -20℃/-80℃. Our default final concentration of glycerol is 50%. Customers could use it as reference.
Troubleshooting and FAQs
Storage Condition
Store at -20°C/-80°C upon receipt, aliquoting is necessary for mutiple use. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Shelf Life
The shelf life is related to many factors, storage state, buffer ingredients, storage temperature and the stability of the protein itself.
Generally, the shelf life of liquid form is 6 months at -20°C/-80°C. The shelf life of lyophilized form is 12 months at -20°C/-80°C.
Lead Time
Delivery time may differ from different purchasing way or location, please kindly consult your local distributors for specific delivery time.
Note: All of our proteins are default shipped with normal blue ice packs, if you request to ship with dry ice, please communicate with us in advance and extra fees will be charged.
Notes
Repeated freezing and thawing is not recommended. Store working aliquots at 4°C for up to one week.

Target Background

Function
Growth factor active in angiogenesis and endothelial cell growth, stimulating their proliferation and migration. It binds to the receptor FLT1/VEGFR-1. Also promotes cell tumor growth.
Gene References into Functions
  1. Studied the influence of dendrobium nobile Lindley (DNL) extract and its bibenzyl component moscatilin on the expression of placental growth factor (PLGF) and Norrie disease protein (NDP) in hypoxia model in retinal cells. Found DNL and moscatilin are able to protect against retinal ischemic/hypoxic changes respectively by downregulating PLGF and upregulating NDP. PMID: 29933759
  2. this paper show that knockdown of PLGF mitigates damage in hyperoxic lung by blocking of NFkappaB signaling PMID: 27280587
  3. PLGF triggers focal adhesion disassembly in alveolar type II cells via inhibiting the activation of focal adhesion kinase. PMID: 25515701
  4. PlGF had a positive feedback regulation with 15-lipoxygenase expression and 15-hydroxyeicosatetraenoic acid generation. PMID: 24001991
  5. placental gene expression is modulated by gestational conditions that might disrupt the fetal growth PMID: 23691181
  6. PlGF repairs myocardial ischemia through mechanisms of angiogenesis, cardioprotection and recruitment of myo-angiogenic competent marrow progenitors PMID: 21969865
  7. augmentation of brain Placental growth factor is associated with development of epilepsy. PMID: 22079325
  8. PLGF expression in the lung tissue in rats with paraquat-induced pulmonary fibrosis is upregulated. PMID: 17997886
  9. This is the first demonstration that sustained intraocular PGF production induces vascular and retinal changes similar to those observed in the early stages of diabetic retinopathy. PMID: 21408222
  10. Intramyocardial injections of autologous myoblasts overexpressing placental growth factor improved cardiac function, attenuated adverse cardiac remodeling, induced angiogenesis, and probably enhanced survival of grafted myoblasts. PMID: 21329947
  11. This study shows for the first time the placental growth factor upregulation in regenerating livers, which is related to hypoxia stimulation and liver growth. PMID: 21088600
  12. Endothelial cell-released H2O2 acts as a positive regulator of placenta growth factor gene and protein expression in vascular smooth muscle cells. PMID: 21123739
  13. The ARPE19 human junctions in culture are modulated by VEGF through VEGFR-1 but not through VEGFR-2. PMID: 18421240
  14. The levels of PlGF-2 in non-malformed embryos of diabetic gestation and their placentas were significantly (P < 0.05) lower than the average of controls. PMID: 19048427
