E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase RNF138
Nemo-like kinase-associated RING finger protein
Short name= NLK-associated RING finger protein
Short name= xNARF
RING finger protein 138
The shelf life is related to many factors, storage state, buffer ingredients, storage temperature and the stability of the protein itself. Generally, the shelf life of liquid form is 6 months at -20°C/-80°C. The shelf life of lyophilized form is 12 months at -20°C/-80°C.
Repeated freezing and thawing is not recommended. Store working aliquots at 4°C for up to one week.
E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase involved in DNA damage response by promoting DNA resection and homologous recombination. Recruited to sites of double-strand breaks following DNA damage and specifically promotes double-strand break repair via homologous recombination (By similarity). Together with nlk.2, involved in the ubiquitination and degradation of TCF/LEF. Also exhibits auto-ubiquitination activity in combination with ube2k. May act as a negative regulator in the Wnt/beta-catenin-mediated signaling pathway
