Tag Info
Tag type will be determined during the manufacturing process.
The tag type will be determined during production process. If you have specified tag type, please tell us and we will develop the specified tag preferentially.
Form
Lyophilized powder
Note: We will preferentially ship the format that we have in stock, however, if you have any special requirement for the format, please remark your requirement when placing the order, we will prepare according to your demand.
Buffer before Lyophilization
Tris/PBS-based buffer, 6% Trehalose, pH 8.0
Reconstitution
We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Please reconstitute protein in deionized sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL.We recommend to add 5-50% of glycerol (final concentration) and aliquot for long-term storage at -20℃/-80℃. Our default final concentration of glycerol is 50%. Customers could use it as reference.
Troubleshooting and FAQs
Storage Condition
Store at -20°C/-80°C upon receipt, aliquoting is necessary for mutiple use. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Shelf Life
The shelf life is related to many factors, storage state, buffer ingredients, storage temperature and the stability of the protein itself.
Generally, the shelf life of liquid form is 6 months at -20°C/-80°C. The shelf life of lyophilized form is 12 months at -20°C/-80°C.
Lead Time
Delivery time may differ from different purchasing way or location, please kindly consult your local distributors for specific delivery time.
Note: All of our proteins are default shipped with normal blue ice packs, if you request to ship with dry ice, please communicate with us in advance and extra fees will be charged.
Notes
Repeated freezing and thawing is not recommended. Store working aliquots at 4°C for up to one week.

Target Background

Function
Receptor that signals constitutively via several signaling pathways including PI3K/AKT as well as mitogen- and stress-activated/MAP kinases. Promotes host cell proliferation and survival, modulates cell migration, stimulates angiogenesis, and recruits inflammatory cells, both in expressing cells and in neighboring cells. Maintains chronic activation of NF-kappa-B via interaction with host CADM1.
Gene References into Functions
  1. The authors showed that the viral orthologues e127 from rat cytomegalovirus and K14 from human herpesvirus 8 do not bind the activating CD200R-like proteins from their respective species, although they do bind the inhibitory receptors. PMID: 26538068
  2. In this study, the authors identify a novel pathway, the Wnt/beta-catenin pathway, which is dysregulated by vGPCR expression in endothelial cells. PMID: 25514828
  3. SWAP70 appears to act as a molecular intermediate between vGPCR and endothelial activation. PMID: 25889342
  4. Data indicate that in NIH3T3 cells expressing unsulfated vGPCR mutant (yydd-vGN) but not vGPCR (wt-vGN) could significantly inhibit the tumor growth triggered by hGRO-alpha. PMID: 23269549
  5. By suppressing cis-acting AU-rich elements-mRNA turnover, vGPCR may facilitate escape of certain target mRNAs from host shutoff and allow secretion of angiogenic factors from lytically infected cells. PMID: 22696654
  6. the TSC/mTOR/HIF axis is activated by the KSHV vGPCR in Kaposi's sarcoma, which amplifies the angiogenic signal PMID: 21559457
  7. Phosphorylation and polyubiquitination of TAK1 are necessary for activation of NF-kappaB by the Kaposi's sarcoma-associated herpesvirus vGPCR. PMID: 21159881
  8. The authors show that vGPCR contains a bona fide immunoreceptor tyrosine-based inhibitory motif (ITIM) that binds and constitutively activates Shp2. PMID: 21047965
  9. vGPCR up-regulation of ANGPTL4 plays a prominent role in promoting the angiogenesis and vessel permeability observed in Kaposi's sarcoma PMID: 20660728
