Precision
Intra-assay Precision (Precision within an assay): CV%<8%
Three samples of known concentration were tested twenty times on one plate to assess.

Three samples of known concentration were tested in twenty assays to assess.
Linearity
To assess the linearity of the assay, samples were spiked with high concentrations of human RNASE2 in various matrices and diluted with the Sample Diluent to produce samples with values within the dynamic range of the assay.

Target Background

Function
(From Uniprot)
This is a non-secretory ribonuclease. It is a pyrimidine specific nuclease with a slight preference for U. Cytotoxin and helminthotoxin. Selectively chemotactic for dendritic cells. Possesses a wide variety of biological activities.
Gene References into Functions
  1. In healthy children, 95th Percentile values ranged from 1519 mg/kg at 0 months to 54.4 mg/kg at 144 months for fecal calprotectin (fCP) and from 9.9 mg/kg at 0 months to 0.2 mg/kg at 144 months for fecal eosinophil-derived neurotoxin (fEDN). There was a significant association between age and fCP concentrations and age and fEDN concentrations and a significant association between fEDN and fCP. PMID: 28169973
