Peptidyl-prolyl cis-trans isomerase CYP20-3, chloroplastic
Short name= PPIase CYP20-3
Cyclophilin of 20 kDa 3
Cyclosporin A-binding protein
The shelf life is related to many factors, storage state, buffer ingredients, storage temperature and the stability of the protein itself. Generally, the shelf life of liquid form is 6 months at -20°C/-80°C. The shelf life of lyophilized form is 12 months at -20°C/-80°C.
Repeated freezing and thawing is not recommended. Store working aliquots at 4°C for up to one week.
PPIases accelerate the folding of proteins. It catalyzes the cis-trans isomerization of proline imidic peptide bonds in oligopeptides. Required for the light-induced increase of thiol accumulation. Assists the folding or assembly of SAT1 enzyme to form the cysteine synthase complex. Links light and redox signals to the regulation of cysteine biosynthesis in response to stress.
Plastid, chloroplast stroma
Cyclophilin-type PPIase family
Ubiquitous, mostly expressed in leaves and flowers.
