Conjugate Avi-tag Biotinylated
E. coli biotin ligase (BirA) is highly specific in covalently attaching biotin to the 15 amino acid AviTag peptide. This recombinant protein was biotinylated in vivo by AviTag-BirA technology, which method is BriA catalyzes amide linkage between the biotin and the specific lysine of the AviTag.

Tag Info
Tag type will be determined during the manufacturing process.
The tag type will be determined during production process. If you have specified tag type, please tell us and we will develop the specified tag preferentially.
Form
Lyophilized powder
Note: We will preferentially ship the format that we have in stock, however, if you have any special requirement for the format, please remark your requirement when placing the order, we will prepare according to your demand.
Buffer before Lyophilization
Tris/PBS-based buffer, 6% Trehalose, pH 8.0
Reconstitution
We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Please reconstitute protein in deionized sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL.We recommend to add 5-50% of glycerol (final concentration) and aliquot for long-term storage at -20℃/-80℃. Our default final concentration of glycerol is 50%. Customers could use it as reference.
Troubleshooting and FAQs
Storage Condition
Store at -20°C/-80°C upon receipt, aliquoting is necessary for mutiple use. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Shelf Life
The shelf life is related to many factors, storage state, buffer ingredients, storage temperature and the stability of the protein itself.
Generally, the shelf life of liquid form is 6 months at -20°C/-80°C. The shelf life of lyophilized form is 12 months at -20°C/-80°C.
Lead Time
Delivery time may differ from different purchasing way or location, please kindly consult your local distributors for specific delivery time.
Note: All of our proteins are default shipped with normal blue ice packs, if you request to ship with dry ice, please communicate with us in advance and extra fees will be charged.
Notes
Repeated freezing and thawing is not recommended. Store working aliquots at 4°C for up to one week.

Target Background

Function
ATP-dependent transporter of the ATP-binding cassette (ABC) family that bind and hydrolyze ATP to enable active transport of various substrates including many drugs, toxicants and endogenous compound across cell membranes. Transports glucuronide conjugates such as bilirubin diglucuronide, estradiol-17-beta-o-glucuronide and GSH conjugates such as leukotriene C4 (LTC4). Transports also various bile salts (taurocholate, glycocholate, taurochenodeoxycholate-3-sulfate, taurolithocholate- 3-sulfate). Does not contribute substantially to bile salt physiology but provides an alternative route for the export of bile acids and glucuronides from cholestatic hepatocytes.
Gene References into Functions
  1. Abbcc3 knock-out mice have enhanced platelet response to clopidogrel due to increased formation of clopidogral active metabolite. PMID: 27525577
  2. data show that this transporter activity is involved in ABCC3-induced senescence, demonstrating that this protein has a complex role in cancer, since its loss of function may promote escape from OIS and tumor formation PMID: 26073088
  3. Transport of cefadroxil by ABCC3 and ABCC4 was saturable with K(m) values of 2.5 +/- 0.7 and 0.25 +/- 0.07 mM, respectively. PMID: 22166395
  4. role of the bile acid membrane transporter Mrp3 (Abcc3), which is expressed in the liver and gut, in the hepatic growth response elicited by bile acids and in liver regeneration after partial hepatectomy PMID: 21756856
  5. Both Abcc2 and Abcc3 significantly influenced the PK properties of MTX. PMID: 21841039
  6. InsP(3)R2-mediated Ca(2+) signals enhance organic anion secretion into bile by targeting Mrp2 to the canalicular membrane. PMID: 20578149
  7. Data show that Abcc2, Abcc3, and Abcg2 together mediate the rapid elimination of MTX and 7OH-MTX. PMID: 19996279
  8. These results suggest that Mrp3 plays major roles in the efflux transport of various glucuronide conjugates from the enterocytes to the portal blood in the small intestine together with unknown transporter(s) PMID: 19889793
  9. induction of Mrp3 plays a significant role in hepatocyte protection during obstructive cholestasis PMID: 12837754
  10. VDR has a role in the protection of colon cells from bile acid toxicity through regulation of the Mrp3 expression PMID: 15824121
  11. Mrp3 does not have a major role in bile salt physiology, but is involved in the transport of glucuronidated compounds, which could include glucuronidated bile salts in humans PMID: 16225954
  12. Basolateral excretion of acetaminophen-glucuronide is nearly completely dependent on the function of Mrp3. Altered disposition in Mrp3-/- mice is associated with reduced hepatotoxicity. PMID: 16250050
  13. Radixin knockout increases Mrp3 expression. PMID: 17204408
  14. Physiological and pharmacological functions of Mrp2, Mrp3 and Mrp4 are reviewed. PMID: 17273943
