Conjugate Avi-tag Biotinylated
E. coli biotin ligase (BirA) is highly specific in covalently attaching biotin to the 15 amino acid AviTag peptide. This recombinant protein was biotinylated in vivo by AviTag-BirA technology, which method is BriA catalyzes amide linkage between the biotin and the specific lysine of the AviTag.

Tag Info
Tag type will be determined during the manufacturing process.
The tag type will be determined during production process. If you have specified tag type, please tell us and we will develop the specified tag preferentially.
Form
Lyophilized powder
Note: We will preferentially ship the format that we have in stock, however, if you have any special requirement for the format, please remark your requirement when placing the order, we will prepare according to your demand.
Buffer before Lyophilization
Tris/PBS-based buffer, 6% Trehalose, pH 8.0
Reconstitution
We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Please reconstitute protein in deionized sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL.We recommend to add 5-50% of glycerol (final concentration) and aliquot for long-term storage at -20℃/-80℃. Our default final concentration of glycerol is 50%. Customers could use it as reference.
Troubleshooting and FAQs
Storage Condition
Store at -20°C/-80°C upon receipt, aliquoting is necessary for mutiple use. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Shelf Life
The shelf life is related to many factors, storage state, buffer ingredients, storage temperature and the stability of the protein itself.
Generally, the shelf life of liquid form is 6 months at -20°C/-80°C. The shelf life of lyophilized form is 12 months at -20°C/-80°C.
Lead Time
Delivery time may differ from different purchasing way or location, please kindly consult your local distributors for specific delivery time.
Note: All of our proteins are default shipped with normal blue ice packs, if you request to ship with dry ice, please communicate with us in advance and extra fees will be charged.
Notes
Repeated freezing and thawing is not recommended. Store working aliquots at 4°C for up to one week.

Target Background

Function
High affinity receptor for interleukin-3, interleukin-5 and granulocyte-macrophage colony-stimulating factor.
Gene References into Functions
  1. IL-3 signaling does not contribute to Jak2 V617F myeloproliferative neoplasm pathogenesis. PMID: 26589916
  2. blockage of betaCR abrogated the EPO-conferred anti-inflammatory action on oxLDL-induced production of macrophage inflammatory protein-2 PMID: 26101463
  3. Deletion of the Csf2rb gene slows the progression of chronic myelomonocytic leukemia in mice. PMID: 26082490
  4. Increased levels of Csf2rb on hematopoietic stem cells lead to expansion of these populations in ApoE(-/-) BM-transplanted Ldlr(-/-) mice, contributing to monocytosis and increased lesional macrophage content. PMID: 24651678
  5. Erythropoietin attenuates the impaired systolic contractility associated with sepsis by activation of the beta-common receptor. PMID: 23519033
  6. Findings indicate that SLP-76 is an essential signaling component for basophil activation downstream of both FcepsilonRI and the IL-3 receptor. PMID: 22875843
  7. Csf-2 receptor acts in the steady state to promote the survival & homeostasis of nonlymphoid tissue-resident CD103(+) & CD11b(+) DCs. It is dispensable for the differentiation & innate function of inflammatory DCs during acute injuries. PMID: 22749353
  8. GM-CSF can regulate beta-catenin stability, most likely via GSK3b. PMID: 22099176
  9. Suggest that beta common receptor may play an integrative role in the erythropoietin signaling-mediated activation of eNOS in endothelial cells. PMID: 21321940
  10. NF-kappaB activation by beta(c) is dependent on TNFR-associated factor (TRAF)6; association of TRAF6 with beta(c) requires a consensus-binding motif found in other molecules known to interact with TRAF6. PMID: 20622119
  11. Interleukin-3 binding to the murine betaIL-3 receptor involves functional epitopes formed by domains 1 and 4 of different protein chains PMID: 15060062
  12. A previously unrecognized negative signaling role for Tyr577 in beta(c); uncoupling Shc from cytokine receptors enhances PI3K signaling as well as survival and proliferation. PMID: 17638849
  13. Ligand-binding and receptor activation are not critically dependent on individual N-glycosylation sites within the IL-3- and IL-5-receptor common beta-subunit. PMID: 18374598
