Conjugate Avi-tag Biotinylated
E. coli biotin ligase (BirA) is highly specific in covalently attaching biotin to the 15 amino acid AviTag peptide. This recombinant protein was biotinylated in vivo by AviTag-BirA technology, which method is BriA catalyzes amide linkage between the biotin and the specific lysine of the AviTag.

Form
Lyophilized powder
Note: We will preferentially ship the format that we have in stock, however, if you have any special requirement for the format, please remark your requirement when placing the order, we will prepare according to your demand.
Buffer before Lyophilization
Tris/PBS-based buffer, 6% Trehalose, pH 8.0
Reconstitution
We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Please reconstitute protein in deionized sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL.We recommend to add 5-50% of glycerol (final concentration) and aliquot for long-term storage at -20℃/-80℃. Our default final concentration of glycerol is 50%. Customers could use it as reference.
Troubleshooting and FAQs
Storage Condition
Store at -20°C/-80°C upon receipt, aliquoting is necessary for mutiple use. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Shelf Life
The shelf life is related to many factors, storage state, buffer ingredients, storage temperature and the stability of the protein itself.
Generally, the shelf life of liquid form is 6 months at -20°C/-80°C. The shelf life of lyophilized form is 12 months at -20°C/-80°C.
Lead Time
Delivery time may differ from different purchasing way or location, please kindly consult your local distributors for specific delivery time.
Note: All of our proteins are default shipped with normal blue ice packs, if you request to ship with dry ice, please communicate with us in advance and extra fees will be charged.
Notes
Repeated freezing and thawing is not recommended. Store working aliquots at 4°C for up to one week.

Gene References into Functions
  1. HIF1alpha activation of Etv2 in embryonic stem cells followed by NOTCH1 signaling is required for the generation arterial endothelial cells that are capable of arteriogenesis and revascularization of ischemic tissue. PMID: 28781077
  2. This study aimed to evaluate the effects of the E-twenty six (ETS) factor Ets variant 2 (ETV2) gene expression in angiogenesis and the effect of ETV2 gene therapy in a mouse model of hindlimb ischemia. PMID: 28424975
  3. Foxh1 regulated FLK1+ mesoderm formation in mouse embryonic stem cells, which in turn specifies hemangiogenic fate via Etv2. PMID: 28912455
  4. findings demonstrate a critical role for Etv2-miR-130a-Jarid2 in vascular patterning both in vitro and in vivo PMID: 29232705
  5. These findings demonstrate that Etv2 is an important regulator of hematopoietic regeneration. PMID: 28461595
  6. Study discuss the functional significance of ETV2 in embryonic vessel development, postnatal angiogenesis and direct cell reprogramming. [review] PMID: 26694034
  7. Etv2 transactivates miR-130a in the endothelial progenitors. PMID: 26565905
  8. Endothelial ETV2 is required for postnatal vascular repair and regeneration. PMID: 26586661

  10. These findings highlight the critical role that transient ETV2 expression plays in the regulation of hematopoietic and endothelial cell lineage specification and stability. PMID: 25802403
  11. ETV2 directly regulates Sox7, and ETV2 governs endothelial development by regulating transcriptional networks which include Sox7. PMID: 24762086
  12. We show that ER71 directly interacts with OVOL2 and that such interaction is critical for FLK1(+) cell generation and their differentiation into downstream cell lineages. PMID: 25267199
  13. Fli1 acts downstream of Etv2 to govern cell survival and vascular homeostasis via positive autoregulation in vasculogenesis. PMID: 24727028
  14. Gata2 functions as a cofactor of Etv2 in the transcriptional regulation of mesodermal progenitors during embryogenesis. PMID: 24583263
  15. study demonstrated using the embryonic stem cell/embryoid body system that Etv2 could rescue the Flk1 mutant phenotype, but Flk1 could not rescue the Etv2 mutant phenotype, further supporting the notion that the Flk1-Etv2 cascade is operational during hemato-endothelial development PMID: 23606617
  16. study to show the critical timeframe of Etv2 requirement and help to know if Etv2 has any function around E9.5 when most endothelial cells(EC) have completed differentiation; also tried to examine if Etv2 expression can define a distinct intermediate step of EC differentiation from Flk-1+/VECAD- mesoderm to VECAD+ differentiated ECs PMID: 23795570
