Conjugate Avi-tag Biotinylated
E. coli biotin ligase (BirA) is highly specific in covalently attaching biotin to the 15 amino acid AviTag peptide. This recombinant protein was biotinylated in vivo by AviTag-BirA technology, which method is BriA catalyzes amide linkage between the biotin and the specific lysine of the AviTag.

Tag Info
Tag type will be determined during the manufacturing process.
The tag type will be determined during production process. If you have specified tag type, please tell us and we will develop the specified tag preferentially.
Form
Lyophilized powder
Note: We will preferentially ship the format that we have in stock, however, if you have any special requirement for the format, please remark your requirement when placing the order, we will prepare according to your demand.
Buffer before Lyophilization
Tris/PBS-based buffer, 6% Trehalose, pH 8.0
Reconstitution
We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Please reconstitute protein in deionized sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL.We recommend to add 5-50% of glycerol (final concentration) and aliquot for long-term storage at -20℃/-80℃. Our default final concentration of glycerol is 50%. Customers could use it as reference.
Troubleshooting and FAQs
Storage Condition
Store at -20°C/-80°C upon receipt, aliquoting is necessary for mutiple use. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Shelf Life
The shelf life is related to many factors, storage state, buffer ingredients, storage temperature and the stability of the protein itself.
Generally, the shelf life of liquid form is 6 months at -20°C/-80°C. The shelf life of lyophilized form is 12 months at -20°C/-80°C.
Lead Time
Delivery time may differ from different purchasing way or location, please kindly consult your local distributors for specific delivery time.
Note: All of our proteins are default shipped with normal blue ice packs, if you request to ship with dry ice, please communicate with us in advance and extra fees will be charged.
Notes
Repeated freezing and thawing is not recommended. Store working aliquots at 4°C for up to one week.

Target Background

Function
Histone demethylase that demethylates 'Lys-4' of histone H3, thereby playing a central role in histone code. Does not demethylate histone H3 'Lys-9' or H3 'Lys-27'. Demethylates trimethylated, dimethylated and monomethylated H3 'Lys-4'. Acts as a transcriptional corepressor for FOXG1B and PAX9. Represses the CLOCK-ARNTL/BMAL1 heterodimer-mediated transcriptional activation of the core clock component PER2.
Gene References into Functions
  1. KDM5B, which demethylates H3K4me3, plays an integral role in regulating RNAPII occupancy, transcriptional initiation and elongation, and alternative splicing events in embryonic stem cells. PMID: 28402433
  2. data suggest Kdm5b negatively regulates neurogenesis and represses reelin in neural stem cells from the adult subventricular zone. PMID: 26739753
  3. These results suggest that KDM5B acts to repress type I IFN and other innate cytokines to promote an altered immune response following Respiratory syncytial virus infection that contributes to development of chronic disease. PMID: 26083387
  4. findings demonstrate that dissociation of the GAPDH/Siah1 pro-apoptotic complex can block high glucose-induced pericyte apoptosis, widely considered a hallmark feature of DR PMID: 26453309
  5. Deletion of Jarid1b compromises hematopoietic stem cell (HSC) self-renewal capacity; Jarid1b is a positive regulator of HSC potential. PMID: 25655602
  6. Mechanistically, JARID1B was required for GATA3 recruitment to the Foxa1 promoter to activate Foxa1 expression. PMID: 24802759
  7. KDM5B is a barrier to the reprogramming process as evidenced by the accelerated reprogramming of differentiated cells in the absence of Kdm5b. PMID: 24100015
  8. these studies identified Jarid1b as a negative regulator of hematopoietic stem cell (HSC) activity and Jhdmlf as a positive regulator of HSC activity. PMID: 23777767
  9. Results suggest a role for Jarid1b in Rb-mediated repression of cell cycle genes during senescence. PMID: 21980403
  10. results delineate an essential role for Jarid1b-mediated transcriptional control during embryonic stem cell differentiation PMID: 22020125
  11. The present study demonstrated a functional contribution of PLU1 overexpression with concomitant epigenetic dysregulation in cancer progression. PMID: 21574959
  12. PLU-1/JARID1B/KDM5B is required for embryonic survival and contributes to cell proliferation in the mammary gland and in ER+ breast cancer cells. PMID: 21369698
  13. Regions upstream of the promoter repress transcription more effectively in a non-malignant breast cell line as compared to breast cancer cell lines. PMID: 15201984
  14. Ectopic overexpression of mouse Jarid1B, a Yjr119Cp homolog, greatly diminished H3-(lysine) K4me3 and H3-K4me2 in HeLa cells, suggesting these proteins function as K4 demethylases in vivo. PMID: 17310255
  15. These findings demonstrate a role for KDM5b in the choice between proliferation and differentiation during development. PMID: 18591252
  16. JARID1b blocks differentiation of multiple lineages from ES cells PMID: 18591252
