Conjugate Avi-tag Biotinylated
E. coli biotin ligase (BirA) is highly specific in covalently attaching biotin to the 15 amino acid AviTag peptide. This recombinant protein was biotinylated in vivo by AviTag-BirA technology, which method is BriA catalyzes amide linkage between the biotin and the specific lysine of the AviTag.

Tag Info
Tag type will be determined during the manufacturing process.
The tag type will be determined during production process. If you have specified tag type, please tell us and we will develop the specified tag preferentially.
Form
Lyophilized powder
Note: We will preferentially ship the format that we have in stock, however, if you have any special requirement for the format, please remark your requirement when placing the order, we will prepare according to your demand.
Buffer before Lyophilization
Tris/PBS-based buffer, 6% Trehalose, pH 8.0
Reconstitution
We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Please reconstitute protein in deionized sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL.We recommend to add 5-50% of glycerol (final concentration) and aliquot for long-term storage at -20℃/-80℃. Our default final concentration of glycerol is 50%. Customers could use it as reference.
Troubleshooting and FAQs
Storage Condition
Store at -20°C/-80°C upon receipt, aliquoting is necessary for mutiple use. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Shelf Life
The shelf life is related to many factors, storage state, buffer ingredients, storage temperature and the stability of the protein itself.
Generally, the shelf life of liquid form is 6 months at -20°C/-80°C. The shelf life of lyophilized form is 12 months at -20°C/-80°C.
Lead Time
Delivery time may differ from different purchasing way or location, please kindly consult your local distributors for specific delivery time.
Note: All of our proteins are default shipped with normal blue ice packs, if you request to ship with dry ice, please communicate with us in advance and extra fees will be charged.
Notes
Repeated freezing and thawing is not recommended. Store working aliquots at 4°C for up to one week.

Target Background

Function
Transcription factor that binds a palindromic (canonical) core consensus DNA sequence 5'-CANNTG- 3' known as an E-box element, possibly as a heterodimer with other bHLH proteins. Regulates endothelial cell proliferation, migration and tube-like structures formation. Modulates endothelial cell differentiation through NOS3. May be implicated in specification and differentiation of neuronal cell lineages in the brain. May participate in kidney development and may be involved in podocyte differentiation. During early embryonic development is involved in tissue-specific differentiation processes that are dependent on class II bHLH factors and namely modulates the differentiation program initiated by the pro-endocrine factor NEUROG3. During myogenesis, may play a role during the transition of myoblasts from the proliferative phase to the differentiation phase. Positively regulates HAMP transcription in two ways, firstly by acting directly on the HAMP promoter via E-boxes binding and indirectly through increased phosphorylation of SMAD protein complex. Repress NEUROG3-dependent gene activation in a gene-specific manner through at least two mechanisms; requires only either the sequestering of a general partner such as TCF3 through heterodimerization, either also requires binding of the bHLH domain to DNA via a basic motif.
Gene References into Functions
  1. ATOH8 is an important transcriptional regulator of hepcidin in beta-thalassemia. PMID: 28405918
  2. Atoh8 modulates activation of the endocrine program. PMID: 26752640
  3. It has observed Math6 expression in various organs at early and late stages of mouse development, which illustrates the involvement of Math6 in multiple developmental events. PMID: 25578518
  4. results reveal distinctive transcriptional properties of Atoh8 within the atonal-related bHLH family that may be associated with the acquisition of new biological functions. PMID: 23938248
  5. ATOH8, GATA4, and FOG2 associate in a single complex PMID: 23836893
  6. Neurogenin3 can trigger the conversion of Math6 from a poorly transcribed bivalent to an active monovalent state in vitro, hence providing a mechanism whereby Neurogenin3 may activate Math6 in endocrine progenitors PMID: 21676531
  7. Math6 may participate in kidney development and may be a permissive factor for podocyte differentiation. PMID: 16937370
  8. Bmp6, Smad7, Id1, and Atoh8 transcripts are significantly modulated by the dietary iron content; activation of Smad7, Id1, and Atoh8 transcription by iron requires Smad4. PMID: 18539898
  9. results demonstrate that Math6 is indispensable for early embryonic development and indicate a more widespread function for this factor in tissue-specific differentiation processes that are dependent on class II bHLH genes PMID: 18560595
