Conjugate Avi-tag Biotinylated
E. coli biotin ligase (BirA) is highly specific in covalently attaching biotin to the 15 amino acid AviTag peptide. This recombinant protein was biotinylated in vivo by AviTag-BirA technology, which method is BriA catalyzes amide linkage between the biotin and the specific lysine of the AviTag.

Tag Info
Tag type will be determined during the manufacturing process.
The tag type will be determined during production process. If you have specified tag type, please tell us and we will develop the specified tag preferentially.
Form
Lyophilized powder
Note: We will preferentially ship the format that we have in stock, however, if you have any special requirement for the format, please remark your requirement when placing the order, we will prepare according to your demand.
Buffer before Lyophilization
Tris/PBS-based buffer, 6% Trehalose, pH 8.0
Reconstitution
We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Please reconstitute protein in deionized sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL.We recommend to add 5-50% of glycerol (final concentration) and aliquot for long-term storage at -20℃/-80℃. Our default final concentration of glycerol is 50%. Customers could use it as reference.
Troubleshooting and FAQs
Storage Condition
Store at -20°C/-80°C upon receipt, aliquoting is necessary for mutiple use. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Shelf Life
The shelf life is related to many factors, storage state, buffer ingredients, storage temperature and the stability of the protein itself.
Generally, the shelf life of liquid form is 6 months at -20°C/-80°C. The shelf life of lyophilized form is 12 months at -20°C/-80°C.
Lead Time
Delivery time may differ from different purchasing way or location, please kindly consult your local distributors for specific delivery time.
Note: All of our proteins are default shipped with normal blue ice packs, if you request to ship with dry ice, please communicate with us in advance and extra fees will be charged.
Notes
Repeated freezing and thawing is not recommended. Store working aliquots at 4°C for up to one week.

Target Background

Function
Regulates APAF1 expression and plays an important role in the regulation of stress-induced apoptosis. Promotes apoptosis by regulating three pathways, apoptosome up-regulation, LGALS3/galectin-3 down-regulation and NF-kappa-B inactivation. Regulates the redistribution of APAF1 into the nucleus after proapoptotic stress. Down-regulates the expression of LGALS3 by inhibiting NFKB1.; Modulates isoactin dynamics to regulate the morphological alterations required for cell growth and motility. Interaction with ARF6 may modulate cell shape and motility after injury. May be involved in multiple neurite formation.
Gene References into Functions
  1. Nucling plays an important role in mammary gland involution by regulating NF-kappaB and STAT3 signaling pathways PMID: 26269594
  2. Findings indicate that UACA functions as a Rab39A effector in the retinoic acid-induced differentiation of Neuro2A cells. PMID: 23624502
  3. Data from knockout mice suggest that nucling plays important role in induction of apoptosis in liver/hepatocytes damaged by cytotoxic stressors; nucling acts through modulation of NFkappaB signaling. PMID: 23071121
  4. Nucling expression is induced by canonical NF-kappaB signalling pathway, whereas Nucling is undergoing proteasome degradation, as well as being cleaved by caspase system under stress conditions PMID: 20702393
  5. Nucling deficiency could be a powerful tool to reveal the NF-kappaB-related molecular networks leading to hepatitis and hepatocellular carcinoma development. PMID: 19637241
  6. expressed specifically in cardiomuscular tissue and up-regulated during cardiac differentiation in the developing embryo PMID: 12761289
  7. Nucling was shown to interfere with NF-kappaB activation via the nuclear translocation process of NF-kappaB/p65, thus inhibiting the expression of galectin-3. PMID: 14961764
  8. Nucling recruits and transports the apoptosome complex during stress-induced apoptosis PMID: 15271982
  9. These results indicate an important role for Nucling in MPTP-induced neuronal degeneration and suggest that the suppression of Nucling would be of therapeutic benefit for the treatment of neurodegeneration in PD. PMID: 16686692
  10. a novel function of Nucling as a suppressor of nuclear factor-kappaB, mediated by its cytoplasmic retention through physical interaction PMID: 19187222
