The UCP1 polyclonal antibody was generated by immunizing rabbits with a synthetic peptide corresponding to the 1-307 amino acids of the recombinant human UCP1 protein. The rabbits produced antibodies against the UCP1 protein, and the resulting UCP1 polyclonal antibody was purified from the rabbits' sera using antigen affinity chromatography.
This UCP1 antibody specifically recognizes and binds to the UCP1 protein from human and mouse samples. UCP1 is a mitochondrial protein that plays a key role in regulating energy expenditure and thermogenesis in brown adipose tissue (BAT). This UCP1 antibody is suitable for use in ELISA and IHC applications to detect and quantify UCP1 protein levels or visualize the localization and expression of UCP1 protein in cells and tissues.
