Conjugate Avi-tag Biotinylated
E. coli biotin ligase (BirA) is highly specific in covalently attaching biotin to the 15 amino acid AviTag peptide. This recombinant protein was biotinylated in vivo by AviTag-BirA technology, which method is BriA catalyzes amide linkage between the biotin and the specific lysine of the AviTag.

Tag Info
Tag type will be determined during the manufacturing process.
The tag type will be determined during production process. If you have specified tag type, please tell us and we will develop the specified tag preferentially.
Form
Lyophilized powder
Note: We will preferentially ship the format that we have in stock, however, if you have any special requirement for the format, please remark your requirement when placing the order, we will prepare according to your demand.
Buffer before Lyophilization
Tris/PBS-based buffer, 6% Trehalose, pH 8.0
Reconstitution
We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Please reconstitute protein in deionized sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL.We recommend to add 5-50% of glycerol (final concentration) and aliquot for long-term storage at -20℃/-80℃. Our default final concentration of glycerol is 50%. Customers could use it as reference.
Troubleshooting and FAQs
Storage Condition
Store at -20°C/-80°C upon receipt, aliquoting is necessary for mutiple use. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Shelf Life
The shelf life is related to many factors, storage state, buffer ingredients, storage temperature and the stability of the protein itself.
Generally, the shelf life of liquid form is 6 months at -20°C/-80°C. The shelf life of lyophilized form is 12 months at -20°C/-80°C.
Lead Time
Delivery time may differ from different purchasing way or location, please kindly consult your local distributors for specific delivery time.
Note: All of our proteins are default shipped with normal blue ice packs, if you request to ship with dry ice, please communicate with us in advance and extra fees will be charged.
Notes
Repeated freezing and thawing is not recommended. Store working aliquots at 4°C for up to one week.

Target Background

Function
Probable adipokine. Activates AMPK, AKT, and p44/42 MAPK signaling pathways.
Gene References into Functions
  1. CTRP9 had a significant antisenescence effect in aged mesenchymal stem cells by activating PGC1 alpha/AMPK signaling and decreasing the oxidative response. PMID: 29749459
  2. Authors demonstrate that CTRP9 regulates growth, differentiation, and apoptosis of HaCaT human keratinocytes. We found that CTRP9 augmented expression of transforming growth factor beta 1 (TGFbeta1) by transcription factor activator protein 1 (AP-1) binding activity and phosphorylation of p38 in a dose-dependent manner. PMID: 29145717
  3. CTRP9 is a cardiokine critical in maintaining a healthy microenvironment facilitating stem cell engraftment in infarcted myocardial tissue treated with mesenchymal stem cell transplantation. PMID: 28978553
  4. These results suggested that gCTRP9 protected RAW 264.7 macrophages from oxLDL via AMPK activation in an AdipoR1 dependent fashion. PMID: 27188183
  5. Suggest reduced plasma CTRP9 concentration during diabetes plays a causative role in platelet hyper-activity, contributing to platelet-induced cardiovascular damage. PMID: 26754066
  6. Results demonstrate that CTRP9 alleviates hepatic steatosis through relief of endoplasmic reticulum stress via the AMPK-mediated induction of autophagy. PMID: 26419929
  7. Enhancing cardiac CTRP9 production and/or its proteolytic posttranslational modification are of therapeutic potential, attenuating diabetic cardiac injury. PMID: 25783894
  8. CTRP9 reduces pro-inflammatory cytokines expression in atherosclerotic plaque. PMID: 25701788
  9. Genetic evidence for a physiological role of CTRP9 in controlling energy balance via central and peripheral mechanisms. PMID: 24473438
  10. Adipokine CTRP9 attenuates adverse cardiac remodeling after acute myocardial infarction, largely via a protein kinase A (PKA)-dependent pathway. PMID: 24030394
  11. data indicate that CTRP9 functions to attenuate neointimal formation following vascular injury through its ability to inhibit VSMC growth via cAMP-dependent mechanism PMID: 22972916
  12. CTRP9 protects against acute cardiac injury following ischemia-reperfusion via an AMPK-dependent mechanism. PMID: 22514273
  13. We have provided the first evidence that CTRP9 is a novel vasorelaxative adipocytokine that may exert vasculoprotective effects via the adiponectin receptor 1/AMPK/eNOS dependent/NO mediated signaling pathway. PMID: 21836066
  14. A novel and highly conserved paralog of adiponectin designated as C1q/TNF-related protein (CTRP) 9 is characterized. PMID: 18787108
