Conjugate Avi-tag Biotinylated
E. coli biotin ligase (BirA) is highly specific in covalently attaching biotin to the 15 amino acid AviTag peptide. This recombinant protein was biotinylated in vivo by AviTag-BirA technology, which method is BriA catalyzes amide linkage between the biotin and the specific lysine of the AviTag.

Tag Info
Tag type will be determined during the manufacturing process.
The tag type will be determined during production process. If you have specified tag type, please tell us and we will develop the specified tag preferentially.
Form
Lyophilized powder
Note: We will preferentially ship the format that we have in stock, however, if you have any special requirement for the format, please remark your requirement when placing the order, we will prepare according to your demand.
Buffer before Lyophilization
Tris/PBS-based buffer, 6% Trehalose, pH 8.0
Reconstitution
We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Please reconstitute protein in deionized sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL.We recommend to add 5-50% of glycerol (final concentration) and aliquot for long-term storage at -20℃/-80℃. Our default final concentration of glycerol is 50%. Customers could use it as reference.
Troubleshooting and FAQs
Storage Condition
Store at -20°C/-80°C upon receipt, aliquoting is necessary for mutiple use. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Shelf Life
The shelf life is related to many factors, storage state, buffer ingredients, storage temperature and the stability of the protein itself.
Generally, the shelf life of liquid form is 6 months at -20°C/-80°C. The shelf life of lyophilized form is 12 months at -20°C/-80°C.
Lead Time
Delivery time may differ from different purchasing way or location, please kindly consult your local distributors for specific delivery time.
Note: All of our proteins are default shipped with normal blue ice packs, if you request to ship with dry ice, please communicate with us in advance and extra fees will be charged.
Notes
Repeated freezing and thawing is not recommended. Store working aliquots at 4°C for up to one week.

Target Background

Function
Immunoregulatory receptor which inhibits the T-cell response. May promote differentiation of embryonic stem cells, by inhibiting BMP4 signaling. May stimulate MMP14-mediated MMP2 activation.
Gene References into Functions
  1. The study demonstrates a novel role of v-domain immunoglobulin suppressor of T cell activation (VISTA) in regulating this inflammatory axis. In the IMQ-induced psoriasis model, VISTA deficiency augmented the inflammatory responses of dendritic cells, gammadelta T cells, and Th17 cells, resulting in exacerbated psoriasiform dermatitis. PMID: 28469254
  2. VISTA expression supports immune-complex inflammation in collagen antibody-induced arthritis and VISTA is expressed in human synovium PMID: 29216931
  3. Dies1 expression loss is a recurrent event in gastric cancer, caused by promoter methylation. PMID: 27721458
  4. Blockade with a combination of iNOS/NO and VISTA caused additive or synergistic abrogation of MDSC-mediated suppression of B-cell responsiveness. PMID: 26157131
  5. The ectopic expression of miR-125b blocks ESC differentiation at the epiblast stage, and this arrest is rescued by restoring the expression of Dies1. PMID: 23807506
  6. study demonstrates the nonredundant role of VISTA that is distinct from the PD-1/PD-L1 pathway in controlling T-cell activation PMID: 25964334
  7. PD-1H is a coinhibitory receptor on alloreactive T cells and functions in the regulation of T cell tolerance. PMID: 25917101
  8. VISTA is a negative checkpoint regulator whose loss of function lowers the threshold for T-cell activation. PMID: 25267631
  9. Coinhibitory receptor PD-1H preferentially suppresses CD4 T cell-mediated immunity PMID: 24743150
  10. data identify Dies1 as a new differentiation-dependent adipocyte plasma membrane protein whose expression is required for effective adipogenesis PMID: 23799023
  11. A regulatory loop involving Dies1 and miR-125a controls BMP4 signaling in mouse embryonic stem cells. PMID: 22751012
  12. Dies1 mediates BMP4 signalling that controls the transcription of miR-125a gene that, in turn, regulates Dies1 expression. PMID: 22751012
  13. Results demonstrate that Dies1 is required for BMP4/Smad1 signaling cascade. PMID: 20042595
  14. Dies1 is a necessary factor of BMP4 signaling and its suppression sustains mESC self-renewal. PMID: 20042595
