Conjugate Avi-tag Biotinylated
E. coli biotin ligase (BirA) is highly specific in covalently attaching biotin to the 15 amino acid AviTag peptide. This recombinant protein was biotinylated in vivo by AviTag-BirA technology, which method is BriA catalyzes amide linkage between the biotin and the specific lysine of the AviTag.

Tag Info
Tag type will be determined during the manufacturing process.
The tag type will be determined during production process. If you have specified tag type, please tell us and we will develop the specified tag preferentially.
Form
Lyophilized powder
Note: We will preferentially ship the format that we have in stock, however, if you have any special requirement for the format, please remark your requirement when placing the order, we will prepare according to your demand.
Buffer before Lyophilization
Tris/PBS-based buffer, 6% Trehalose, pH 8.0
Reconstitution
We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Please reconstitute protein in deionized sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL.We recommend to add 5-50% of glycerol (final concentration) and aliquot for long-term storage at -20℃/-80℃. Our default final concentration of glycerol is 50%. Customers could use it as reference.
Troubleshooting and FAQs
Storage Condition
Store at -20°C/-80°C upon receipt, aliquoting is necessary for mutiple use. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Shelf Life
The shelf life is related to many factors, storage state, buffer ingredients, storage temperature and the stability of the protein itself.
Generally, the shelf life of liquid form is 6 months at -20°C/-80°C. The shelf life of lyophilized form is 12 months at -20°C/-80°C.
Lead Time
Delivery time may differ from different purchasing way or location, please kindly consult your local distributors for specific delivery time.
Note: All of our proteins are default shipped with normal blue ice packs, if you request to ship with dry ice, please communicate with us in advance and extra fees will be charged.
Notes
Repeated freezing and thawing is not recommended. Store working aliquots at 4°C for up to one week.

Target Background

Function
Putative Notch ligand involved in the mediation of Notch signaling. Plays an essential role during limb, craniofacial and thymic development. May be involved in myogenesis and in the development of peripheral and central nervous systems.
Gene References into Functions
  1. A deficiency of KLF2 increased the expression of Notch ligand Jagged2 via hypoxia-inducible factor 1alpha (HIF-1alpha), which led to Th2 amplification. PMID: 27302755
  2. these findings suggest that Jagged2 signaling can affect graft acceptance by upregulation of IL-6 and consequent resistance to Treg-cell suppression. PMID: 23526606
  3. results demonstrate that maternal P4 levels during midpregnancy can inhibit the expression of Jagged2 and Notch1, which are involved in primordial folliculogenesis, in the mouse fetal ovary PMID: 22652674
  4. These data suggest that Notch ligands are differentially regulated in DCs: Delta-like 4 is regulated by T helper cells and by pathogen-derived Th1 stimuli, whereas Jagged 2 is regulated by Th2 cells and pathogen-derived Th2-promoting stimuli. PMID: 21352254
  5. novel Jagged2/miR-200-dependent pathway that mediates lung adenocarcinoma epithelial-to-mesenchymal transition and metastasis PMID: 21403400
  6. Loss of Jagged2 is associated with craniofacial, limb, and T cell development. PMID: 20533406
  7. identification as substrated for presenilin-dependent gamma-secretase cleavage PMID: 12551931
  8. Jagged2 stimulates the development of natural killer cells from Lin(-) Sca-1(+) c-kit(+) hematopoietic stem cells PMID: 15650053
  9. DLL1, functions synergistically with JAG2 in regulating hair cell differentiation in the cochlea. PMID: 16141228
  10. both Notch1 and 2 are required in the ectoderm to receive the Jagged2 signal; Notch receives this signal at an early stage in the developmental process and memory of this event is retained by the mesenchyme PMID: 16169548
  11. Notch signalling, involving Notch1 and Jagged2 is required to regulate the number of Fgf8-expressing cells that comprise the apical ectodermal ridge, and this is important for the freeing of the digits during normal limb formation. PMID: 16245338
  12. Jag2-Notch1 signaling is spatiotemporally regulated in the oral epithelia during palate development to prevent premature palatal shelf adhesion to other oral tissues and to facilitate normal adhesion between the elevated palatal shelves. PMID: 16607638
  13. p63, and particularly the DeltaNp63 isoform, is essential for thymic development via enhanced expression of FgfR2 and Jag2. PMID: 17626181
  14. Results suggest that Jagged2 plays an essential role for mandibular condylar cartilage morphogenesis and development. PMID: 18226989
  15. jagged2 is not fundamentally required for Th2 induction by soluble egg antigen-activated dendritic cells in vivo PMID: 18350543
  16. These results indicate that the Jagged2-Notch axis plays a crucial role in DC-mediated natural killer cell cytotoxicity. PMID: 18458347
  17. Jagged 2 expression by dendritic cells is not sufficient or required for T helper (Th) type 2 cell differentiation. PMID: 18523256
  18. mesenchymal stem cells, partly via cell-cell contact, drive mature dendritic cells to differentiate into a novel Jagged-2-dependent regulatory DC population and escape their apoptotic fate PMID: 18832657
  19. Results suggest that the Notch1 signaling pathway through Jagged2 could be importantly related to Math1, directing the process of odontogenesis toward cell differentiation. PMID: 19181188
  20. Jagged2 are Expressed in the developing mouse eye and in differentiating neurons. PMID: 19191219
  21. IRF6 and Jagged2 is essential for controlling palatal adhesion. PMID: 19439425
