Endotoxin Level: <1.0 EU per 1μg of the protein by the LAL method (We will perform Endotoxin Removal upon your request.)
Q:

We are looking for sterile, no endotoxin Mfge8. Is this product available?

A:
Thanks for your inquiry.
If you request for Endotoxin Removal and Aseptic Processing, the lead time will be extended for 2-3 business days, so the total lead time will be 5-10 business days.
We could guarantee Endotoxin Level: <1.0 EU per 1μg of the protein by the LAL method.
We have tried several times to remove endotoxin from this protein but failed. If you want Endotoxin Removal and Aseptic Processing, we could try again, but the possibility of failure is great.
Would you please check what experiment you plan to perform? Could you accept if we finally fail to remove endotoxin from this protein?
Looking forward to your response. Have a nice day.
Q:

What is the endotoxin level of this lot? Do you product sterile MFGE8 (no endotoxin)?

A:
Thanks for your inquiry.
If you request for endotoxin removal and aseptic processing, the lead time will be extended for 2-3 business days.
We have tried several times to remove endotoxin from this protein but failed. If you want endotoxin removal and aseptic processing, we could try again, but the possibility of failure is great.
Would you please confirm what experiment you plan to perform. Could you accept if we finally fail to remove endotoxin from this protein?
Q:

Unfortunately, unless you can guarantee endotoxin removal we would not be able to accept the protein. We are looking for levels at zero but could accept <0.001 or in that region.

A:
Thanks for your response. As mentioned in the last email, we have tried several times to remove endotoxin from this protein but failed, so we can't guarantee. Sorry about this.

Target Background

Function
Plays an important role in the maintenance of intestinal epithelial homeostasis and the promotion of mucosal healing. Promotes VEGF-dependent neovascularization. Contributes to phagocytic removal of apoptotic cells in many tissues. Specific ligand for the alpha-v/beta-3 and alpha-v/beta-5 receptors. Also binds to phosphatidylserine-enriched cell surfaces in a receptor-independent manner. Zona pellucida-binding protein which may play a role in gamete interaction.; Main constituent of aortic medial amyloid.
