The SDCBP monoclonal antibody is generated by immunizing mice with recombinant human SDCBP protein (2-298aa), isolating B cells from the mouse spleen, and fusing these B cells with myeloma cells to create hybridomas. The hybridoma cells are screened to select the SDCBP antibody-producing cell line, which is cultured in the mouse abdominal cavity. The purified SDCBP monoclonal antibody is obtained from the mouse ascites using protein G affinity chromatography, which ensures a purity of over 95%. It is an unconjugated IgG2b antibody that can recognize three species including human, mouse, and rat, and can be used in ELISA and WB applications.
SDCBP, also known as Syntenin-1, is a protein that is involved in various cellular processes, including cell adhesion, migration, and signaling. SDCBP is a scaffolding protein that interacts with various membrane and cytoplasmic proteins, such as syndecans, integrins, and signaling molecules, to form multi-protein complexes. These complexes are involved in the regulation of cell-cell and cell-matrix interactions, as well as in the modulation of intracellular signaling pathways, including those mediated by the Wnt and TGF-β signaling pathways. SDCBP has also been implicated in the regulation of endocytosis, exocytosis, and vesicular trafficking.
