I need the lyophilized powder of Human Coagulation Factor XIIIa (Activated) which can be reconstituted and used as and when required.
Let me know how many micrograms of Activated Factor XIIIA you recommend for 1 ml of whole blood.
What is the difference between the four sources mentioned by you i.e yeast,etc & which one is as close as Human Factor XIIIA.

Thanks for your inquiry. As to how many micrograms of Activated Factor XIIIA you recommend for 1 ml of whole blood, sorry, as we haven't validated the activity of this protein,
so we can't recommend the suitable dose to you, and we can't 100% guarantee its activity.
However, as what we provide is the active region of this protein, and it will be purified under very mild condition, in theory, it should be active.
This protein has less post-translational modification and theoretically the protein expressed by the eukaryotic expression system should be active,
We recommend the protein expressed by the mammalian expression system, which is closest to the structure of the native protein.
So you can consider to purchase a small size of MP protein to have a try.

Function Factor XIII is activated by thrombin and calcium ion to a transglutaminase that catalyzes the formation of gamma-glutamyl-epsilon-lysine cross-links between fibrin chains, thus stabilizing the fibrin clot. Also cross-link alpha-2-plasmin inhibitor, or fibronectin, to the alpha chains of fibrin.
