The recombinant Human SERPINB2 protein is encoded by the gene of SERPINB2 (1-415aa). The gene of SERPINB2 was cloned in a system (Mammalian cell) that supported the expression of SERPINB2 and translation of messenger RNA. Modification of SERPINB2 by recombinant DNA technology could lead to the expression of the target protein. The protein was fused with N-terminal 10xHis tag in the production. The purity is 85% determined by SDS-PAGE.
SerpinB2 (PAI2) is a protein coding gene that encodes Plasminogen activator inhibitor 2. According to some studies, SerpinB2 may have the following features.
Regulating Th1 response seems to be a physiological function of inflammation-related SerpinB2. One function of SerpinB2 is to sculpt the adaptive immune response. SerpinB2 regulates the stroma remodeling and local invasion of pancreatic cancer. SerpinB2 protects retinoblastoma protein from the influence of calcin and enhances the viability of tumor cells. The Kindlin2-p53-SerpinB2 signal axis is necessary for breast cancer cell senescence. The serine protease inhibitor SerpinB2 binds and stabilizes p21 in senescent cells. SerpinB2 inhibits migration and promotes the resolution phase characteristics of large peritoneal macrophages. SerpinB2 expressed by tumor cells is present on the microparticles and inhibits metastasis. SERPINB2 is a new indicator of stem cell toxicity.
