Description

WNT3A protein CSB-EP026136HU1 is a recombinant human partial-length protein produced in E.coli. A DNA sequence encoding 19-351aa of human WNT3A protein was fused with an N-terminal 6xHis-tag and then contained within the protein. The purity of this WNT3A protein is greater than 90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. And it was elevated in the LC-MS/MS Analysis. CUSABIO provides in-stock WNT3A proteins and reduces the time for the products to reach the laboratory table.

WNT3A is a member of canonical WNT ligand and modulates different pleiotropic cellular functions such as self-renewal, proliferation, differentiation, and motility. It is closely related to the etiology and pathology of numerous diseases including cancer. Depending on cancer type, WNT3A augments or inhibits metastasis, cell proliferation, and apoptosis of cancer cells.

Purity Greater than 90% as determined by SDS-PAGE.

Target Background

Function
(From Uniprot)
Ligand for members of the frizzled family of seven transmembrane receptors. Wnt-3 and Wnt-3a play distinct roles in cell-cell signaling during morphogenesis of the developing neural tube.
Gene References into Functions
  1. The miR-766-3p suppressed hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) cell growth and invasion via a Wnt3a/PRC1 positive regulatory loop, and miR-766-3p may serve as a potential therapeutic target in HCC. PMID: 30145863

  5. Study found that Wnt3a highly expressed in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) tissues, and confirmed that Wnt3a plays an essential role in HCC progression.
