TREM2 plays a central role in microglial function and neuroinflammatory signaling, making high-confidence interaction data essential for antibody and ligand-binding studies. This recombinant human TREM2 fragment (residues 19–174) encompasses the extracellular immunoglobulin-like domain and is produced in mammalian cells to preserve native glycosylation and conformational integrity critical for receptor-ligand recognition. Functional validation demonstrates an EC50 of 1.145–1.358 ng/mL in ELISA-based antibody binding and a sub-nanomolar SPR affinity (KD = 0.146 nM), providing a suitable basis for ligand-binding interaction assays, competitive blocking antibody screening, therapeutic antibody epitope mapping, and affinity characterization by SPR or BLI. Purity exceeding 90% by SDS-PAGE and endotoxin levels below 1.0 EU/μg satisfy the criteria typical for use as a positive control in binding assays and for small-molecule or biologic inhibitor screening in drug discovery workflows.
