CXCL11 (I-TAC) is a potent CXCR3 ligand that drives directional migration of activated T cells, making it central to interferon-γ-mediated inflammatory responses and tumor immune surveillance. This tag-free recombinant human CXCL11, spanning the full mature sequence (22–94 aa), induces chemotaxis of IL-2-activated human T-lymphocytes at 0.1–10 ng/ml, confirming signaling potency suitable for Transwell migration assays, CXCR3 receptor internalization studies, and downstream MAPK or JAK/STAT pathway analyses. Endotoxin levels below 1.0 EU/μg minimize LPS-driven artifacts in sensitive immune cell assays, supporting use in primary T-cell functional experiments, in vivo inflammation or tumor models, and as a reference standard for CXCL11 detection ELISAs. Expressed in *E. coli* and purified to greater than 97% by SDS-PAGE, this protein provides a suitable basis for antibody validation workflows including immunogen use, coating antigen preparation, and Western blot positive controls.
