Description

This Rat NOS1 ELISA Kit was designed for the quantitative measurement of Rat NOS1 protein in serum, plasma, cell culture supernates, tissue homogenates, cell lysates. It is a Sandwich ELISA kit, its detection range is 31.25 mIU/mL-2000 mIU/mL and the sensitivity is 7.81 mLU/mL .

Recovery
The recovery of rat nNOS/NOS1 spiked to levels throughout the range of the assay in various matrices was evaluated. Samples were diluted prior to assay as directed in the Sample Preparation section.

Produces nitric oxide (NO) which is a messenger molecule with diverse functions throughout the body. In the brain and peripheral nervous system, NO displays many properties of a neurotransmitter. Inhibitory transmitter for non-adrenergic and non-cholinergic nerves in the colorectum.
