Intra-assay Precision (Precision within an assay): CV%<8%
Three samples of known concentration were tested twenty times on one plate to assess.
Inter-assay Precision (Precision between assays): CV%<10%
Three samples of known concentration were tested in twenty assays to assess.
To assess the linearity of the assay, samples were spiked with high concentrations of mouse TIMP-2 in various matrices and diluted with the Sample Diluent to produce samples with values within the dynamic range of the assay.

CUSABIO's mouse TIMP2 ELISA kit is an in vitro enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay for the quantitative measurement of mouse TIMP2 in serum, plasma, cell culture supernates, or tissue homogenates. This assay uses the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique in combination with the enzyme-substrate chromogenic reaction to quantify the analyte in the sample. The color develops positively to the amount of TIMP2 in samples. The color intensity is measured at 450 nm via a microplate reader.
TIMP2 is a unique inhibitor among the TIMP family members, because it not only correlates with matrix remodeling and angiogenesis suppressing but is also involved in the process of tumor growth, inflammation, and other diseases. TIMP2 mediates anti-angiogenic effects by inhibiting endothelial cell migration and invasion through α3β1 integrin. It has been reported to have erythroid-potentiating activity, stimulate quiescent cell proliferation, function as a metanephric mesenchymal growth factor, and inhibit FGF-stimulated endothelial cell growth.
