Reconstitution
We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Please reconstitute protein in deionized sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL.We recommend to add 5-50% of glycerol (final concentration) and aliquot for long-term storage at -20℃/-80℃. Our default final concentration of glycerol is 50%. Customers could use it as reference.
Troubleshooting and FAQs
Storage Condition
Store at -20°C/-80°C upon receipt, aliquoting is necessary for mutiple use. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Shelf Life
The shelf life is related to many factors, storage state, buffer ingredients, storage temperature and the stability of the protein itself.
Generally, the shelf life of liquid form is 6 months at -20°C/-80°C. The shelf life of lyophilized form is 12 months at -20°C/-80°C.
Lead Time
Delivery time may differ from different purchasing way or location, please kindly consult your local distributors for specific delivery time.
Note: All of our proteins are default shipped with normal blue ice packs, if you request to ship with dry ice, please communicate with us in advance and extra fees will be charged.
Notes
Repeated freezing and thawing is not recommended. Store working aliquots at 4°C for up to one week.

Target Background

Function
Plays an important role in the organization of the cytoskeleton. Binds to and sequesters actin monomers (G actin) and therefore inhibits actin polymerization.; Seraspenide inhibits the entry of hematopoietic pluripotent stem cells into the S-phase.
Gene References into Functions
  1. Tmsb4X was up-regulated in Crybb2 mutant brain. Additionally, Tmsb4X was co-expressed with Crybb2 at actin-enriched cell ruffles. Over-expression of Tmsb4X in cultured hippocampal neurons inhibited dendritogenesis, which phenocopied Crybb2 knock-down. PMID: 29864422
  2. expressed prominently in podocytes; modifier of glomerular injury PMID: 27575556
  3. Our data suggest that Tbeta4 is required for setting correct sarcomere length and for appropriate splicing of titin, not only in the heart but also in skeletal muscle. PMID: 27914791
  4. Increased Tb4 expression was observed in ethanol treated microglia. Knockdown of Tb4 enhanced ethanol-induced inflammatory mediators tumor necrosis factor-alpha and interleukin-1beta and nitric oxide in BV-2 cells was performed. PMID: 27189760
  5. Results provide evidence that Tbeta4 regulate the levels of VEGF and MMP-2 via the Wnt/beta-catenin/Lef-1 signaling pathway to influence the growth of blood vessels around hair follicles and to activate cell migration. PMID: 27130465
  6. we identified the C-terminal four amino-acid variable end of TB4 as the essential and responsible domain for the molecule's full benefits in the hypoxic heart. PMID: 26255251
  7. From the results, Tbeta4 increased the viability and promoted the differentiation and mineralization of MC3T3-E1 cells on Ti discs. PMID: 27433712
  8. this study demonstrated, for the first time, that Tbeta4 was down-regulated in ROS-stimulated PDLCs as well as Tbeta4 activation exhibited anti-inflammatory effects and anti-osteoclastogenesis in vitro. PMID: 26789270
  9. this study demonstrates, for the first time, that Tbeta4 is expressed in developing periodontal tissue and that its expression is associated with osteoblastic/cementoblastic differentiation. PMID: 26361868
  10. Tbeta4 appears to regulate P38/ERK/AKT signaling via its effect on VEGF expression, with a resultant effect on the speed of hair growth, the pattern of HFs and the number of hair shafts PMID: 26083021
  11. This study provides putative information concerning the signaling pathway through which Tb4 induces RUNX2 expression, which may help to understand the regulation of tooth development and tooth regeneration. PMID: 25739055
  12. Tbeta4 substantially inhibited bleomycin-induced IL-17 over-expression in the lung tissue: a decreased amount of IL17-producing cells and inhibited IL-17 expression in lung with Tbeta4 treatment correlate with its anti-inflammatory and anti-fibrotic effects. PMID: 24613476
  13. The results suggest that Tbeta4 plays multiple functional roles in odontogenic epithelial cells in the early stages of tooth germ development by regulating the expression of odontogenesis-related genes. PMID: 23052839
  14. Analysis at 21 days post-fracture show that the fractional volume of new mineralized tissue and new highly mineralized tissue are greater in calluses from Tbeta4-treated mice compared to controls. PMID: 25042765
