Form
Liquid or Lyophilized powder
Note: We will preferentially ship the format that we have in stock, however, if you have any special requirement for the format, please remark your requirement when placing the order, we will prepare according to your demand.
Buffer
If the delivery form is liquid, the default storage buffer is Tris/PBS-based buffer, 5%-50% glycerol. If the delivery form is lyophilized powder, the buffer before lyophilization is Tris/PBS-based buffer, 6% Trehalose, pH 8.0.
Reconstitution
We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Please reconstitute protein in deionized sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL.We recommend to add 5-50% of glycerol (final concentration) and aliquot for long-term storage at -20℃/-80℃. Our default final concentration of glycerol is 50%. Customers could use it as reference.
Troubleshooting and FAQs
Storage Condition
Store at -20°C/-80°C upon receipt, aliquoting is necessary for mutiple use. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Shelf Life
The shelf life is related to many factors, storage state, buffer ingredients, storage temperature and the stability of the protein itself.
Generally, the shelf life of liquid form is 6 months at -20°C/-80°C. The shelf life of lyophilized form is 12 months at -20°C/-80°C.
Lead Time
Basically, we can dispatch the products out in 3-7 working days after receiving your orders. Delivery time may differ from different purchasing way or location, please kindly consult your local distributors for specific delivery time.
Notes
Repeated freezing and thawing is not recommended. Store working aliquots at 4℃ for up to one week.

Target Background

Function
Involved in control of glycogen metabolism, meiosis, translation, chromosome segregation, cell polarity and G2/M cell cycle progression. PP1 may act in opposition to the IPL1 protein kinase in regulating chromosome segregation by dephosphorylating H3S10ph. The BUD14-GLC7 complex is necessary to regulate microtubule dynamics at the cortex and may function as a specific activator of the dynein complex.; Component of the cleavage and polyadenylation factor (CPF) complex, which plays a key role in polyadenylation-dependent pre-mRNA 3'-end formation and cooperates with cleavage factors including the CFIA complex and NAB4/CFIB. Component of the APT complex, which may be involved in polyadenylation-independent transcript 3'-end formation.
Gene References into Functions
  1. We deleted the novel intronic RNA structure within the GLC7 intron and showed that this region, rather than the intron itself, is responsible for the cell's ability to respond to salt stress. We also showed a direct association between the in cis presence of the intronic RNA and GLC7 expression PMID: 27194751
  2. Replacement of the N terminus of eIF2gamma with the GLC7-binding domain from GAC1 or fusion of heterologous dimerization domains to eIF2gamma and GLC7, respectively, maintained eIF2alpha phosphorylation at basal levels PMID: 24706853
  3. Glc7 is involved in transcription termination. PMID: 24413056
  4. summary of current knowledge of how Glc7 function modulates processes in the cytoplasm and nucleus; Additionally, global Glc7 regulation is described [review] PMID: 20800758
  5. Data show that the Ref2 mutation, which renders it unable to bind Glc7, displays a marked decrease in lithium efflux, which can be explained by the inability of these cells to fully induce the Na+-ATPase ENA1 gene and blockage of the calcineurin pathway. PMID: 20028335
  6. Glc7 activity promotes recovery from replication fork stalling caused by dNTP depletion and that gamma H2A dephosphorylation is a critical Glc7 function in this process. PMID: 19884341
  7. Bud14p physically interacts with the type-I phosphatase Glc7p, and localizes Glc7p to the bud cortex. PMID: 16107882
  8. Phosphatase activity of Glc7 strongly suggest a common role of two proteins in regulating Glc7 nuclear localization and function. PMID: 17142459
  9. Data show that downregulation of Glc7, or its dissociation from CPF in the absence of CPF subunits Ref2 or Swd2, results in snoRNA termination defects. PMID: 18342605
  10. The catalytic subunit of the budding yeast protein phosphatase 1 (PP1) homolog, Glc7, regulates exit from the spindle checkpoint. PMID: 19592248
