Description

This recombinant monoclonal antibody is developed as a research-grade biosimilar to the reference antibody ATH3G10, targeting PC (plastocyanin), a crucial copper-containing protein involved in photosynthetic electron transfer. Plastocyanin functions as a mobile electron carrier between the cytochrome b6f complex and photosystem I in the thylakoid lumen of chloroplasts, playing an essential role in oxygenic photosynthesis. Pyruvate carboxylase catalyzes a 2-step reaction, involving the ATP-dependent carboxylation of the covalently attached biotin in the first step and the transfer of the carboxyl group to pyruvate in the second.
