Down-regulates transcriptional activation by nuclear receptors such as NR1F2.

  1. Results show that NRIP2 was significantly up-regulated in Colorectal cancer initiating cells (CCICs) from both cell lines and primary colorectal cancer tissues, and identified it as a novel molecule acting in Wnt pathway. The interaction between NRIP2 and RORbeta activates downstream target HBP1 and is probably involved in CCIC self-renewal. PMID: 28137278
