Target Background

Function

Hydrolyzes intracellular trehalose to glucose (Probable). The disaccharide trehalose serves as a storage carbohydrate that is mobilized during nutrient stress (Probable). Regulates the level of trehalose as a protectant for cell integrity during heat stress.
