Target Background

Function

Binds medium- and long-chain acyl-CoA esters with very high affinity. Can interact in vitro with oleoyl-CoA, barely with palmitoyl-CoA, but not with arachidonyl-CoA. May function as an intracellular carrier of acyl-CoA esters.
