Target Background

Function
Reduces sulfate for Cys biosynthesis. Substrate preference is adenosine-5'-phosphosulfate (APS) >> 3'-phosphoadenosine-5'-phosphosulfate (PAPS). Uses glutathione or DTT as source of protons.
