Lipase which is essential for lysis of subvacuolar cytoplasm to vacuole targeted bodies and intravacuolar autophagic bodies. Involved in the lysis of intravacuolar multivesicular body (MVB) vesicles. The intravacuolar membrane disintegration by ATG15 is critical to life span extension.
