Function
Transcription factor involved in the cell wall damage response. Acts with ADA2 to promote cell wall integrity. Required for expression of numerous cell wall biosynthesis inhibitor caspofungin-responsive genes. Plays a key role in adherence, hyphal development, and virulence.
