Target Background

Function

Probable chromatin remodeling factor. Required for the initial establishment of DNA methylation and for accumulation of 24-nt siRNAs. May act on RNA templates by remodeling ribonucleoprotein structures and thereby influencing the availability of the RNA to polymerases.
