The pdlp1,2,3 triple mutant is more susceptible to Hyaloperonospora arabidopsidis (Hpa) while overexpression of PDLP1 enhances plant resistance, suggesting that PDLPs enhance basal immunity against Hpa. PMID: 25393742

Cell membrane; Single-pass type I membrane protein. Cell junction, plasmodesma. Note=Co-localizes with the Grapevine fanleaf virus (GFLV) 2B-MP at the base of tubules within modified plasmodesmata.

Tissue Specificity
