Target Background

Function

Chaperone that binds to RNA, single- (ssDNA) and double-stranded (dsDNA) DNA, and unwinds nucleic acid duplex. Promotes freezing tolerance.

AtCSP3 is functionally linked to the regulation of leaf length by affecting LNG1 transcript accumulation during leaf development. PMID: 22888122
