Function

Involved in cellular morphogenesis. Required for traffic between late Golgi and early endosomes, and for the normal structure and organization of the endoplasmic reticulum.

Data show that Dop1p localizes to endosomes and exists in a complex with Neo1p-Ysl2p-Arl1p. PMID: 20477991
Dop1 plays a widespread role in membrane organization, and Mon2 acts as a scaffold to recruit the Golgi-localized pool of Dop1 PMID: 16301316
