Gene References into Functions

Cdc20 and Dpb2 of the Pol epsilon complex are required for loading of GINS, Cut5, Drc1, and Cdc45 onto replication origins. PMID: 22718908
Collectively, these data and earlier results in budding yeast indicate that the major roles of Pol-delta and Pol-epsilon at the eukaryotic replication fork are evolutionarily conserved. PMID: 22144917
GINS functions in a pathway that involves Cdc45 and is necessary for DNA polymerase epsilon chromatin binding, but a separate pathway sets up the chromatin association of DNA polymerase alpha. PMID: 19109429
