Target Background

Function

Activates the transcription of the eut operon. Also positively regulates its own transcription. Probably binds ethanolamine and vitamin B12 as effectors. Competes with ethanolamine ammonia-lysase (EAL, the first enzyme in the EA degradation pathway) for adenosylcobalamin.
